Yes, here it is. What we (Xbox 360-owners) have all been waiting for: Battlefield: Bad Company, released by KFC. This version is NTSC, so I guess PAL-users still have to wait some time.

Battlefield: Bad Company drops gamers behind enemy lines with a squad of renegade soldiers who risk it all on a personal quest for gold and revenge.
Featuring a cinematic single-player experience loaded with adventure and dark humor, the game delivers the series’ trademark sandbox gameplay in a universe where nearly everything is destructible. Battlefield: Bad Company also features a full suite of the franchise’s trademark multiplayer options with deep gameplay designed to take full advantage of the game’s massively destructible environments.
The player takes on the role of Preston Marlowe, who is a rookie to 222nd Army battalion, B-Company, a squad of insubordinate soldiers who are risking everything by going AWOL on a personal quest for gold deep behind enemy lines. It has been stated that the movies Kelly’s Heroes and Three Kings have been strong influences for the story.

- Destructible Environments: The Frostbite game engine allows 90% of the environment to be destroyed, including buildings, vegetation, vehicles, and even the ground itself, and more.
- Classes: In a move similar to Battlefield 2142, the number of soldier classes will be lowered, resulting in a combination of the classic soldier classes. The classes in this game are: Assault, Demolitions, Recon, Specialist, and Support.
- Weapons: Weapons can be unlocked by ranking-up. This system was also used in previous Battlefield-games.

NTSC is perfectly playable on PAL systems. It’s the region-lock which affects playability, not the video-output.

Do your homework. NTSC versions can NOT be played on PAL systems. Why would there be such thing as REGION-FREE?

@9 u are wrong, REGION-FREE is REGION-FREE PAL is PAL and NTSC is NTSC, you can not use NTSC on PAL just dont work full stop.

Do you guys play copied games online in multiplayer? I heard there was a way for MS to locate copies and lock their console from XBox Live completely, is that true? Are games titled as “stealth” not visible to MS? Are these releases “stealth” games? Maybe someone can help me out, thanks.
#42 been playing on live with no issues using the most recent iextreme and check to make sure that the game is patched/ripped correctly. no one is 100% safe but if you take the precautions your chance of getting banned may go down a little.
there is a great thing out there call the internet that has a ton of info about alot of things you might want to look into it

Sorry to be disrespectful to your words Bram, but “what we’ve all been waiting for” my a$$. I tried the demo on Xbox 360 after a recommendation from a couple friends, and it sucked. One of my friends even said, “It’s as good as Call of Duty 4″. Yeah…it really isn’t. The ONLY, and I stress only, thing I liked about this game was the driving, but the rest sucked. And I wouldn’t get it for the driving alone (even free), since COD5 is going to have vehicles as well.

What a TOOL!
This game is pretty cool. Been playing it the past month on PS3 and I think they have finally nailed MP on the head. No more sniper campers, if you think they are in the area just send a message to someone at base and have them shell it to death. Or, you can use grenades and just blow everything around them up. The award system is better than CoD4 since everyone kinda starts out equal instead of having one player that can kill everyone on the map with one weapon because they have been playing for a year. Balance is key with this game.
The single player is nice also. Unlike the previous versions, the single player is not just filler for the DVD it’s actually been thought out and worked on. You play a group of soldiers (Bad Company) who have went AWOL to find gold paid to mercenary forces hired by the Russians. I can’t remember the guys name but he was an actual CIA case at one point. The guy paid everyone with gold.
Pretty good game. Good enough to buy.

This isn’t coming out for the PC, just because it’s adversided when you start up Battlefield 2 does not mean it’s for the PC.
They are going to release a new patch and some maps for Battlefield 2, announcement should come shortly.

You can get region free games, there are hundreds of them from hong kong you can get. Timeshift, Burnout and Assassins Creed all were region free it just depends on where it comes from as on the back you can see it made in various places like “Mexico”

I hope you’re joking, Dtheman. DICE have stated it is console-only, and besides: they would’t waste months on a PC port, it would be done immediately like usual. Battlefield 3 is probably the next DICE PC release, hopefully in 2009.

Maybe the aiming sucked because you were playing on a PS3 controller? They aren’t exactly built for shooters.
I’m not a fanboy or anything but the Xbox 360 controller is just plain better for shooters. PC is still the best though.
