Batman Arkham Asylum D2D READNFO-P2P

Here comes well known and expected Batman Arkham Asylum. It’s p2p release and it’s D2D copy (download copy from Direct2Drive service). Well, game and crack seems to be working, BUT there is known issues with glide in game (not working as it should). At least you can get your self image and later when scene release is out, just apply their crack only over it and you’re good to go.

    I'm at the glasshouse entrance, poison ivy has blocked the door and, i went going down. Where the cronicle of arkham is, and then you need to grapple up. But there is nothing, i can't grapple up. Help please :) .

    I'm back at botanical gardens looking to stop Ivy and the plants blocking the entrance are invisible…I thought something might've been up when all of the Arkham Islands were suddenly free of the giant plants…but anyways, now I can't seem to get where I need to go because I can't see the plants…any way around this?

    im using win7 x86 so it cant be OS

    to all to get someone save to work in my game ive pasted XLive folder and SaveData folder. it might be necessary to copy SaveDate folder becouse it contains another folder named very weirdly,and in that folder u have ur save file.

    SCARECROW 3RD DREAM FIX!!!!!
    When the platform drops beneath you and you need to grapple up, exit the game.
    then go into the config file (bmgame-config-defaultgame), set it to -90.
    Then reload game
    then after the first bit where you hide, hit the edge of the dropping platform running, and jump of the edge
    you will float just enough to grab the edge of the next platform and pull yourself up, and will then not be floating anymore.
    put the spotlight on him, get to the next bit, exit and reset the gravity to -1000 and then go back in again.

    @gem, you were right!

    For anybody experiencing the problem with the saves, just do what gem said: after copying and pasting folders and saves, start the game, enter the mainscreen, press the HOME button to open xlive, and login to (in this case scale's) profile.

    But I have another problem, I can't use physx now. If I change the level to 1, I can't login to the xlive profile and use the save. How should I fix this now?

    set the gravity to -1, and float up. the way to do this here is to run against the wall, and hold down the forward key, and you will slowly rise, when you get through however, it does take a while to get back down again, but persevere. it involves slowly bouncing down the walls again, took me about 5 min but it works eventually

    Yust wait for a week for a proper scene release and play the game the way it's meant to be played.
    Passing this version with some gravitiy tricks and other people saves is yust very lame.

    Guys – For those still stuck in the botanical Gardens when the vines block the exit and you are supposed to go down through the floor, follow the tunnel around and then you get the grapple bug – You don't need to go that way to get out. When stood in front of the vines blocking the way to the door, turn around and climb up the fountain behind you. Then use the line gun and you will zip over the vines and be able to leave via the front door. That said, I don't know how far into the game you can then get until the new problem appears but at least it gets you outside again.

    i only had one grapple bug, the part where you have to exit the botanical gardens when the plants are blocking the door, went through the vent and had to go back up (where there should be a grapple so you end up behind the plants at the door), solved it by jumping 2x on that statue across the plants blocking the door, used the line gadget aimed at the door and i just slided over the plants and voila, i was at the door and could exit :)

    anyway, i finished the game so its not a problem to use that trick at the gardens, never messed around with the gravity too, that was the one and only grapple bug i encountered

    For Ivy level with invisible walls i got a bypass..
    first you enter the botanical gardens… on your left there is that higher part where you need to go on… From there jump on to the invisible wall and you will get over it :) .

    Now i get the black part too in the chamber of Ivy

    wow im an idiot! so if anyone is stuck trying to get out of the botanical gardens, i was trying everything (gravity, future saves, etc.) but all i eventually did was used the grapple line over top of the plant blocking the door. maybe everyone else is talking about something else but i kept dropping down the grate and trying to grapple up that wall (with no grapple point). oh and by the way to go over the plant you stand on top of the fountain. if this isn't what people are talking about then i feel flat out dumb but i was stuck there for like an hour. hah

    This game kind of ended too quickly. After defeating Ivy, you go directly to the party and fight Joker. After you beat him that's the end. So, after 55% of the game or so, you go directly to Joker and finish the 100% in 1 hour. Too bad…

    Overall, the game is pretty good. The characters are fancy, the graphics are awesome, the gameplay is average. What I missed playing this game was driving the Batmobile and flying Batman's aircraft. They should have added those options.

    @942 – You finished like.. 56% of the game or so. To get to 100%, find all the riddles, complete all the challenges, find all the trophies. :)

    I'm stuck in the abandoned tunnel. Is there supposed to be a grapple spot on the last gate before the thugs? I see the really high ledge but the grapple won't stick and it kind of crumbles when you try to pull up. And the big yellow X kinda tells me that's not where you're supposed to grapple.

    First off, your work is much appreciated. I have tried your save games but can't seem to get it to work. I replaced the XLive folder in C:\Users\smocc\AppData\Local\Microsoft\XLive with yours. Then I replaced my SaveData folder in C:\Users\smocc\Documents\Eidos\Batman Arkham Asylum\ with one of yours.

    In game I pressed the HOME button and created an offline account called RRAA.

    When I start the game now it only offers me to start a New Game in all slots.

    What's wrong?

    Alright, just finished the main storyline (= the game) as you can continue to collect all the items (The Riddler informed me that 75% of all items are acquired just before the final battle). The final boss was impressive and Armored Batman kicks ass.

    Anyhow, managed to get through the entire game without any ini hacks, only had to glide into that ventilation shaft on Arkham Mansion and restart several times on the pre-final boss battle (sometimes the room was empty, just restart until it plays a cinematic, then it'll be alright).

    Possibly reinstalling the game before doing the Ivy fight helped.

    Either way just wanted to let you guys know that it can be done without too much hassle. Also, unfortunately, I'm pretty sure that it's impossible to get 100% items, too many grapple points for ventilation shafts with those question marks in them don't show.

    i can verify this works. it does take a few tries and some patince but if you go to the corner to the right of the second window and pan the canera to the far right you will eventually grapple and fly upward. let urself die, and you'll "retry" on top of the ledge. thanks a bunch for that one! very inventive and useful.

    This will work 100 % !!!! Takes a bit time, but it works !!!

    Thanks so much for the info. Everyone else continues to detail their experience overcoming the 2nd Scarecrow dream with the eventual phrase, "pan the camera." This is, of course, only possible to those playing with an XBox 360 controller.

    What OS are you using ? And also wht was the savegame folder name for you initially?? Was it 0000000 or something like e00000510000 ?? A lot of my frnds using diffrnt rigs could play with my saves… I dunno what the problem is mate. Still answer the folder name question..I will see what i can do.

    I finished the game i have all problems that u guys have

    but i try these its worked fine

    1- donot collect any items like riddles tropies,maps $ tapes.
    2- copy ur savefile for every completed ur mission.

    if u have any problems like grapple , or pioson ivy satage ccopy ur backup save file and paste ur savedata folder and play it its worked fine i try these & i ended the game once u u finished the game collect all ur tropies & maps

    Yeah after a few good try's I floated in the right direction using just a keyboard and mouse. Kept flying off the screen. Then the next glitch was no grapple spot in the Abandoned Tunnel. I'm still only up to right after Harley lets Poison Ivy out. If there's only a few more trouble spots then the rest should be no problem.

    tnx scale for the ivy save …and also tnx everybody for posting here ideas,solutions etc.
    i've encountered the grapple bug many times …three times i had to change the gravity ( first in the northen corridor arkham mansion,second 3rd scarecrow dream, third batcave after making the antidote) and a fourth time ..when i reached the ivy (at the botanic house) when i entered it ..i reached some kind of invisible wall and couldn't go on ..tnx to scale's saves i managed to finish the game ..i feel sorry although because i had a lot more riddles discovered and characters reveiled..but at least i could enjoy the end of this great game.
    keep on posting ppl..i first thought when i reached the first grapple bug that this was it ..and i should wait for a proper crack ..but a little ingenuity does a lot and tnx to your comment i managed to finish it.

    Wow guys seems like I am the only one experiencing the grapple bug in the ''Pressure Control Junction''…
    It's when you are trying to get out of the CAVES to reach the botanical garden and go fight Ivy…You know when Joker calls out that infected thug(who smashes that big door) and all those guys continuosly coming out of the elevators…when you get em all you have to break down a wall (by taking it down with your bat-something) and…then I cannot grapple in the place I opened up!
    I dunno if i can use the gravity-change because…how the heck would I kill all of those enemies if they keep flying…it's a mess…
    Could anyone give me any advice?

    This is strange and I'm hoping someone knows how to fix it because its annoying me now. I kept coming out of batman and minimizing the game but somehow it's not full screen anymore I mean it's a window with the minimize, maximize and close icons in the top right pretty much like this

    Now I just need to get past the scarecrow 3rd dream sequence. Nothing works the gravity trick just makes him fly away like Mary poppins. If anyone has actually figured out how to do this let me know

    i had a massive problem in ''Pressure Control Junction'' aswell, after trying like 10 times i was able to do it.

    I passed to poison ivy battle and her room is black like some guys said. I hope i don't have to start a new game just to fight her

    Guys with Physx enabled, those of you who faced crashes to desktop sayiing low on virtual memory or file missing, it's actually the fact that the BmGame>CookedPc>Maps>Physx>Maps folder isn't complete some of the areas for some of the maps are missing. If someone gets a legit copy please upload the entire Maps folder here it's only 60-100mb

    big thanks for the saves the second pack named arkham worked great. took me right to the ivy battle. though right out of load i dropped into blackness, i simply loaded last checkpoint and bam it worked perfectly from there on. cant say i liked the lack of armor upgrades lol but hey whatever. thanks again

    i finished the game on xbox360 twice ! but PC version with Physx on is compelitly diffrent ,too bad game crashes when i turn on the physx ,is there someone wants to crack this game or not ! by the way i'm stuck in 19% and i cant grapple to garden,nevermind without physx i can't play this game

    Hi,

    I just finished the Poison Ivy battle with the savegames which can be found on page 9 of comments. Now I need to go to the "party", but it doesn't load. It's a similar problem as the Poison Ivy level didn't load, causing invisible plants and a black hole. Well, I go to the visitor center but nothing is there. No thugs, no Joker face painted on a door, only 1 door instead of 2, no line of appaluse, inside the visitor center no joker, no explosion, nothing… I can go inside but I can only walk around…

    Someone has a savegame just after Poison Ivy's battle (and xlive).

    My theory – every time you do something in game to change the 'world' defeat an enemy, collect/complete riddler stuff, move between level load zones; a drm check is issued and a count is incremented if it fails. many things are set to break based off a percentage derived from this magic number. the really bad breaks are story triggers failing, and level triggers failing. as we've seen most people get stuck at grapple points. but if you force/minimize your way to ivy, we've all seen the oracle chats missing, and the level reverting to a 'broken everything is missing story wise' mode.
    many times some of the breaks are … easy, in that a few "revert to last checkpoint"s might fix it, or gravity hacking.

    about the best proof is that as you play, the more things that are done, trophies, enemies knocked out, story done, the more 'off map' grapple points start replacing regular ones, most noticeably story choke points get hit and fast.

    Possibly the original bmstartapp.exe excuse for being 6+MB is that it contained extra data that is missing in our cracks that the B-man needs to pass the drm checks and prevent the counter from breaking things slowly.

    that we just dont have valid keys and have to block the program from internet access to play that 'fixes' a little trigger in the game that turns it from aggro land to fluffy bunnies land.

    final little guess is that it just looks at the system clock, everything will fix itself the 15th. :P
    try setting your system time ahead!

    tl:dr – FADE copy protection, +crack that got gliding and saving working but not the rest of the data needed to be fed to batman to keep it happy.

    if u're using a laptop to play the game try Fn(Function Button)+Bloc Scor it will come back to full screen
    it might be possible also with an Alt+Enter ..haven't tried it

    @Marcus the only solution for the invisible plants is load the saves from someone who uploaded them here(like scale page 9) it's just at the entrance in the botanical chambers or mansion and it works just fine
    @Hugo also take the saves and load the one with joker(after renameming it) after you distroy poison ivy all that's left to do is "go to the party" ….fight joker in the cell block

    @994 Sharp. lol i was stuck on the same spot as you are now and almost quit playing, but i got a workaround.
    just go where you are supouse to grapple but this time go near the edge and hang, let it go and Glide/fly your way to the main entrance poison gas is not there and you can go out thru that door.
    check the map and you will see there is a door right there.

    @Sharp OH.. after that you will get stuck on screcrow 3rd dream. the only workaround for this was to change in
    C:\Documents\Eidos\Batman Arkham Asylum\BmGame\Config
    change this value
    DefaultGravityZ=-1000.0
    to =-50
    i hate to do that but i couldnt resist to keep playing, f i have to do it again then i will actually wait for a proper release, so far is frist time a cheat like that and it will be the last.

    It fixed my grapple problems (Young's Office and Scarecrow #2 encounter). So maybe it'll fix Ivy.

    Borgir, there is no "KaOs crack". Kaos release was just a RIP of the D2D and it has the same crack you already have. Just to be 100% sure I downloaded it and tried and it doesn't solve any problems. Grapple issues everywere you go.

    Best thing to do is frequently keep old saves and reload from them when issues appear.

    The issue is that the game crashes with "General protection fault" error in any cutscene.. saying something like "getstackowner address 0×0101034 (file not found) c:\dadas\Shipping-BMGame.exe"

    Loader Batman Arkham Asylum update 2.

    This loader fix save (online, offline), glide, glide kick, grapple.
    You can try this with your current save – but it propably will not work.
    You need to start new game.

    Make backups of your saves frequently.
    Make backup on entering batcave (1st and 2nd time).

    Known issues: On 2nd batcave exit (with cure and ultra batclaw) there
    is flying/climbing/line launcher sequence on some rocks – after this – you back to
    sewers – you need to see enemies and Ivy plants there.

    If you not see enemies and plants – you encounter "wrong level load" issue.
    Exit game (Alt-F4), restore 2nd batcave savegame and try again.

    From there make backups of your savegames every time you see save icon (alt-tab)and if
    you encounter "wrong level load" restore last backup save and load it 3-4 times to get
    into correct level (with enemies and plants).

    Except above – game is works and now im on last boss (joker), but still cant beat him.

    Hey guys isn't the problem with movies ? e.g. when we're going to ivy in botanical garden and the room isn't there, i think the movie should start after opening the door but smth is wrong….. that's why that room is not loaded…..maybe…..
