Batman Arkham Asylum D2D READNFO-P2P

Here comes well known and expected Batman Arkham Asylum. It’s p2p release and it’s D2D copy (download copy from Direct2Drive service). Well, game and crack seems to be working, BUT there is known issues with glide in game (not working as it should). At least you can get your self image and later when scene release is out, just apply their crack only over it and you’re good to go.

    Avelanche, what video card and what OS do you have? Are you using the game version mentioned in this post?

    Not all walls can be broken, but pieces of some walls can be blown off by thug's head or a well aimed punch.

    PhysX works…sometimes, but many files are missing in the …\maps\PhysX… folder so you'll have to add them manually as explained by someone in this thread. it works but sometimes, you'll have strange bugs, so personally i switched back to PhysX/OFF, it doen't change the atmosphere at all, you even hardly notice it's ON except for the volulmetric smoke on specific places.

    Yeah, that's what I discovered exactly – some physX files are missing. For me physX effects add to the atmosphere significantly, I'll complete the game once more once the version with proper physX is out :)

    just a reminder to everyone to be careful, i downloaded this game from mediafire.com, and it's packed with w32.pinfi, luckyli my norton able to removed it, right now i'm installing the game, and after that i'm gonna restart my pc and check my pc one more time, to make sure that the virus is gone.

    As many of you were I'm now stuck at invisible wall in Botanical Gardens. I tried using Scale's save but when I start the game using X-Live profile (no matter whose) the game immidiatelly crashes. Therefore I'm aksing only those of you who played whithout an xlive account or even offline profile for a save right before ivy. Thanks in advance

    After using the gravity hack about 5 times to get through the game I hit that fukin invisible wall at the botanical gardens. Then even floating over the wall no Ivy appears. Any way to fix this other than trying someone else's save? I guess score one for Eidos the fuking bastards. The score will be even though in about a week when this is properly cracked.

    I can't get the savegames working, what do i do wrong? I replace the XLive folder with the new one, and the savedata folder. Then i run the game, and i only see my profile, not the uploader's profile.

    First of all i'd like to thank Scale, his upload (saves and xlive profile) allowed me to beat the game at last.
    yeah, I played 75% of the maps with PhysX enabled (on high=PhysX_level 2) on my GTX260 and I think it's not worth the craze for this feature (at least in this pre-release version). The major improvement relies on volumetric smoke on some specific places, spiderwebs are anecdotal to me and dynamic paper is cool but might distract you during fights.
    Maybe we will see some major addition to this in the final release but for now……..

    ok found the the savedata folder. Does anyone have a direct save file for just after Scarecrow dream sequence 3? It seems like the only way i'm going to get past that part. I've tried the gravity trick but batman just floats away unless i'm doing something wrong. Any help would be much appreciated?

    So guys i just completed this on easy :) screeny included below to prove it i had a few grapple bugs just used the gravity hack thats about it.

    I have to say this game is insane and i probly will be buying it to play it again smoothly ofcourse :P

    for those having problems after floating above the invisible wall in the Botanical Gardens, Ivy will never appear because the mission objective hasn't been updated yet. mine still says "stop joker from polluting gotham river"-thingy, while i already finished that mission. just wondering. can you use your old save file on the full release when it comes out?

    Can someone explain to me how using the gravity trick works with the scarecrow dream sequence 3 I just run and jump onto the first elevator but then I just float up really quickly. There's no way to grapple or nothing hold onto anything. I'm just curious what happens with the people who have done it?

    almost done with the game and the rest of my save checkpoints, before/after bosses, and so on.

    my system is an AMD quad core, Radeon HD3850 Powercolor edition, two sticks of 2Gig DDR3 Gskill ram, Vista ultimate 64bit.

    I must say that this game has been hell on wheels. I was all good and then ran into that Ivy invisi-vine cr@p. Many thanks to Scale, I don't know how you did it but that was epic success. I personally don't think that any game is worth all the shiznilty such as this game contains and I definately have no desire to play a retail box version. I mean what if it turns out that these problems are present in the final release.

    I applied the 00 crack last night, and I beat the game just now without running into a single glitch. No save glitch, no glide glitch, and NO GRAPPEL GLITCH! I can confirm that this works, and a huge shoutout to 1100 for pointing this out. Here's the link for anyone that cares:

    i just ran into the invisible walls in ivy, and the black hole as well in her chamber. long story short, there were NO enemies after coming out of the mountain from the 3 pump room deactivations.

    THE FIX: dont hold this to me, but i grabbed the 00.rar (updated crack for arkham) and used it with a saved right before the titan minion and the goons you fight after disabling the three pumps (after you get the upgraded batclaw).

    in conclusion: the moral of the story here is once you have empty rooms/levels/areas, your game has failed to load correctly, and will continue downhill. you have to BACKTRACK to a time where there were enemies.

    e00000ae00000001 is my save files folder name originally.

    everyone elses save files worked for me when i was having trouble, and i did NOT need to log into their Xlive account, or copy their Xlive folder over mine, or even change the save file folder name to theirs.

    TIPS for those in trouble=

    *Grappling issues: lowering your gravity will work, if batman freezes up and wont glide, reload, and make sure you just tap glide/force his arms to flap for a split second (you dont have to make him descend) so he doesnt freeze up.

    *Invisible walls, enemies not spawning, blackholes, and objectives not activating/updating: when i ran into some of these, HALF the time all i had to do was solve a riddle or two in that area, if not all in that area. but that was with the old crack.

    FOR THOSE WORRYING ABOUT STARTING A NEW GAME:
    *i started over after getting stuck at Scarecrow 2, grappling bug, of course. i played through with a new install, same files, and had the same issues, and got stuck at the same part.
    *i used the gravity trick for almost half the game, then finally got stuck at ivy after leaving the pump rooms, i did NOT have to start a new game, just reloaded an older save point where enemies, consoles, and grapple points were working, used the new crack and beat ivy/joker without the slightest problem.

    the Secret to fixing problems with old saves is: you Dont want any glitches/problems present, and your game will be fine… the original crack and game run amazing for the most part, but only certain spots act up, so everything will be fine just as long as you use the new crack IN BETWEEN two spots that act up.. an example: you got stuck at scarecrow 2/batcave 1, use the gravity trick to get around it, then if everything is fine afterwards, use the new crack and youre good to go.

    and to end my rant. i spent at LEAST an hour trying to find another way around the ivy invisible wall/black hole/boss not spawning. face it, if the game is SAVED with a glitch, you cant take the glitch out, and if you cant go around the glitch, use a save point from someone else, or start a new game. no matter what cracks/fixes come out for this game, YOUR save will still be corrupted.

    I've just finished the game, still have 95% though.

    I've used KelSat trainer from gamecopyworld to float past the places with grappling problems.

    If you enter a place with invisible walls you need to reload the last checkpoint.

    Thank you Avelanche, the saves are working now … And it seems you found about same number of riddles as I did after I got stuck with Ivy, so I used other saves from people to get pass her, but in the end I found out that they had so little riddles solwed.

    But this will get me going again :)

    Hey thanks, Anon.
    I was stuck in abandoned tunnel, unable to grapple. The gravity hack in the config file was getting me no where, the game would lock up on me and I didn't have enough time to get to the next checkpoint. But the Trainer #4 from gamecopyworld allowed me to basically toggle Float mode, so I used it just to get to the ledge and I am past that part.

    For the people that are having problems with the invisible walls..

    Delete your other save games leave only one. BUT, make sure you replace the one save with a fresh new save from tha rar that Scale made, make sure you don't die. The reason why you can't grapple up to that vent is because you aint supposed to. Ivy clears up the passage where the path was blocked off by Joker.

    I'ved tried your save for after scarecrow dream sequence 3 anon but it says corrupt file so I changed the folder to yours e00000ae00000001 but nothing shows up. Does anyone know how to fix this? I really want to get past this stupid bit.

    Trouble with Savegames:
    *try using the xlive folder provided
    *use the same Save folder name, 000ae yada yada, as i posted above
    *try Logging in to my xlive account, press HOME on your keyboard in the main menu, log in to Avelanche

    if you dont find a save game at the area youre at, its because the area didnt give me problems. HALF of my save's i uploaded were out of request, not because i ran into them.

    i ran original crack without problems for the most part, the major ones were scarecrow 2, batcave 2, gardens 2.

    i used the 2nd crack i don't know where it came from the only bug that i expierince is the one with invisible rock on the screen but still i passed that scene by killing myself… then ending up on the lower part from where you'll go…

    you DO NOT have to START A NEW GAME!!

    just load ANY save Before or After a problem occurs, and you can continue with the new crack. this worked for me in the end of the game with the most serious bugs, then tested it on an earlier save before scarecrow 2, and i didnt get the grapple glitch.

    Xlive folder location=
    C:\Users\Avelanche\AppData\Local\Microsoft
    *just replace C with whatever the hard drive name is for you where youre windows is installed. then replace Avelanche with whatever your windows LOGON/UserAccount name is

    and AGAIN.. you DO NOT NEED TO START A NEW GAME… just use the new crack BEFORE a problem happens (with an earlier save file) or AFTER you get around a problem (like a grapple bug, using no gravity)

    dont believe these fools telling you to start over

    Avelanche : I was stuck at Scarecrow 2..but I already used the gravity hack and got to the next point.. and then I used the new crack..but then I don't see my save listed after I started the game and created a live profile.. Do I need some other special save?

    I'e tried finding it but it's a bloody mystery :-S I'm trying to use Avelanche saves but no luck so far :-/

    @Avalanche: Yay! Looks like I managed to run the game with the new crack using my old save just like you said!! Just had to use a bit of common sense.. I had to simply replace the save file with the old one.. but I hope i don't see any problems now onwards!

    the path is for win vista or win 7. Probably you are using xp. So it will be located under documents and settings folder. search for xlive in it.

    Here is one thing.

    IS THERE A POSSIBILITY TO USE THE SAVEGAMEs WITHOUT HAVING AN WINDOWS LIVE ACCOUNT (OFFLINE ACCOUNT)???

    BECAUSE THATS THE REASON WHY SO MANY USER HERE HAVE NO XLIVE FOLDER.

    Im stucked at the botanical gardens, and as i said, i played it with an offline account. please help me if some of you know a way.

    ok i did a complete search and the only xlive and this is the only folder I found C:\WINDOWS\system32\xlive

    If this is it could someone tell me what is to be done now?

    ALOT of games REQUIRE xlive to allow you to MAKE a save file, and play through campaign..

    this game does, and the cracks bypass the online verification part. so you SHOULD have a xlive folder somewhere.

    all you have to do is Rename your old xlive folder (to Xlive2 or something) so when you copy MINE or someone elses folder you dont overwrite yours, if you overwrite yours, you might not be able to play YOUR old saves anymore.

    i did Not have to do this in vista ultimate 64bit, not sure if any of this matters, but it could be because i play alot of Xlive based games.

    once you place Someone elses xlive folder in where yours is, you need to LOG IN to their account, by pressing HOME on your keyboard when the game loads up.. there wont be a password, just type their login name exactly as it was when they used it to make their saves

    ok so C:\WINDOWS\system32\xlive is this the correct file path? I don't want to mess with it if it isn't

    And then rename the original something else (Xlive2)

    then put your Xlive in C:\WINDOWS\system32 folder?

    yeah, what i do is name it Xlive Original then yeah move the new Xlive folder into the original spot. it wont mess anything up.

    nevermind my last post avalache i found the xlive folder and i got ur saves to work so THANKS A LOT MAN

    to other people who cant find the x live folder u must type the file path directly into a windows address bar or u must search for "appdata" because it is hidden for sum reason

    then paste avelaches xlive folder there and rename ur old one to OLDxlive and then start a new game up to the first point the game saves (circle symbol in bottom right corner after you fully control batman for the first time) and then exit and use one of avel's saves in ur save game folder inside C:\Users\YOUrNAME\Documents\Eidos\Batman Arkham Asylum\SaveData

    You seem to be the only guy here who knows how that works.

    My problem is, i really dont have an XLive Folder. I was using a crack from a torrentsite, so that i could save the game. After that crack, i was able to pass the game until the botanical gardens (okay with some grapple bugs). But you see my problem? I play the game with an offline account (Thats why there is no Xlive folder on my pc). What could i do?

    I am also stuck with the Botanical Garden invisible wall. The strange thing is that I have restored the previous savegame and beaten the boss and the bad guys again and again, about 6-7 times but when I get out of the building I have no bad guys and always get the invisible wall issue at the Botanical Gardens. So restoring old saves doesn't seem to work for me at this point.

    The truth is that I have started the game with the v1 crack and I continued with the v2 crack at about 20% with the savegame I had from the v1 crack. But everything was fine until that point and never had a problem unless once that I also restored an older savegame and everything was fine. But at this point with Ivy this doesn't seem to work. I also used the v1 crack again to continue but I had the same invisible wall issue at the Ivy level… I also used some trainer that can change the x,y,z position to bypass the invisible wall but of course I do not encounter any bad guys and when i get in the room with Ivy I fall into nowhere like others said. I guess its a "wrong level load" issue but could not find a way to bypass it and I really don't want to use other savegames…

    ok Avelanche I've put your xlive folder into C:\WINDOWS\system32\

    now where do I put your save file? I'm using over scarecrow 3 do they go to Eidos\Batman Arkham Asylum\SaveData? I trieddoing that and changing the save file folder to yours e00000ae00000001

    This is very confusing. I'm also not sure about the logging in part. do i go to 'join live'? I tried logging in with Avelanche but it didn't work

    help would be much appreciated I'm starting to lose hope on this game :-/

    just woke up a couple hours ago…

    so heres the deal…

    if you installed the game, YOU HAVE XLIVE on your computer. go to control panel, folder options, 'View', and enable "show hidden files and folders". then you will be able to see the folder named Xlive.

    where the save folders actually Go is different for each operating system.. vista it gos here:
    C:\Users\"computer login name"\Documents\Eidos\Batman Arkham Asylum

    for xp and older, you can always search for your current save folder, then replace it, or look around on google or on here to see if anyones said anything about where they go.

    for the people/person having trouble with gardens after the NEW crack- 00.rar user my upload just in case you got a fake.

    the only way to bypass those errors caused by the security measures the game uses. is the new crack.. or you could use other methods to counter securom and so on, but theyre pretty difficult and arent always very supportive.

    again, if youre getting any errors, it could be that you didnt place a folder correctly, or skipped one of the steps i listed before

    The only place i found xlive was in C:\WINDOWS\system32\ thats' where i've put yours

    My save folder is in My Documents\Eidos\Batman Arkham\SaveData
    so i presume your save files go into the savedata file right? but with your e00000ae00000001

    I don't do anything else with the xlive folder do i?

    and it's the logging in I need help with

    well how -i- logged in to other accounts, was by pressing HOME on the keyboard when the games in the main menu screen. the xlive window that pops up during the initial game loading tells you what to do.

    but i didnt need to log in to actually use any other saves.

    I've managed to play this leaked or something game, but it got major bugs unfortunately. I experienced grapple bug once where I was in need to visit Dr.Young's office, I couldn't target that vent. shaft, but after few restarts I could. The thing I found funny is – I didn't have any grapple glitches at scarecrow Pt.2, but after I exited that building where Dr.young's office located (forgot the name of it, and it ain't that important anyway) and I should've ran to next fight outside near uhhh "caves" where's 4 Unarmed thugs, and 2 armed. I couldn't grapple there at all, restarts ain't working. Still getting that glitch.

    As for save games.. The save game' links that were provided here are dead/removed/deleted.

    I guess I'll just wait for official release.
