Batman Arkham Asylum D2D READNFO-P2P

Here comes well known and expected Batman Arkham Asylum. It’s p2p release and it’s D2D copy (download copy from Direct2Drive service). Well, game and crack seems to be working, BUT there is known issues with glide in game (not working as it should). At least you can get your self image and later when scene release is out, just apply their crack only over it and you’re good to go.

    Its on windows 7 / maybe on vista should be the same path

    I finished the game,i used saves and xlive folder from scale,on main menu just press home and sign in under scale name and you can load any save from folder, best is before trigger that worked for me(ivy bug.Thanx to scale and gem

    That xlive which did you gave me its not that one i need :)
    I think in XP it should be located somewhere in C:/Documents and settings/USERNAME/Application Data/Microsoft/…

    Application data is hidden folder so..
    Please locate it and upload
    Inside XLive should be these directories:
    Content, SysCache, Titles

    DomBek, yes what peter said is correct you also need to provide the whole Xlive folder located in your documents and setting folder in that open microsoft folder and search for xlive..when u find the folder rar it and upload it

    The Abandoned Tunnel grapple problem has nothing to do with the crack. You need to talk to Aaron Cash (the guard inside the Records Room) at which point a cutscene will happen. After that you will be able to grapple over. This actually offers some insight into all of these problems, because it seems like they are caused by broken triggers. Certain people you didn't talk to, a specific thing that you didn't do, etc.

    Can anyone upload the save game for Ivy?

    I am at the part where I enter the gardens, and the vines are invisible. I got past them fine, but when I open the door, I fall into nothingness…

    I noticed some other uploaded save games, but I don't know if they are the right ones I need.

    And I have NO IDEA what I am doing when it comes to loading other people's saved games, and Xlive stuff, etc etc.

    So if you post the save game (the save after you enter the Ivy door, and fall into nothingness), and maybe a step-by-step instruction on how to do it, I would MUCH appreciate it!

    btw i tried almost everything but Ivy's boss battle lvl doesn't load i just fall into darkness. oh well i will wait till the original releases

    @apolladan, thanks for the tip, I missed the chat with Aaron Cash. But I return to the Abandoned Tunnel and I am still unable to grapple. I must have missed some other trigger so I'll do more investigation.

    Calvin, save in to Binaries folder (where other .exe files are). I think it overwrites some file that's already there.

    Here's the checkpoint right after the grapple missing spot in the 2nd Scarecrow scene: http://sharebee.com/bef78f98 It worked for me without anybody's xlive folder. I made it past there with my own saves by using the gravity hack. Seems all the kiddies like upgrading the combo moves and batarangs before upgrading their armor. I upgraded the armor first cause what good is the other stuff if you're dead? And it's weird I didn't even see a circle with the yellow X at the grapple spot in 2nd Scarecrow scene. There was nothing there. Then next problem I had was grapple spot missing in the Abandoned Tunnel. Played for hours after that and had no more problems. Now at 39%.

    Here's where my save folder goes in Vista 64bit: C:\Users\YOUR USER NAME GOES HERE\Documents\Eidos\Batman Arkham Asylum I changed my own save folder to "SaveData 2" before I pasted in the other one.

    That "Update 2" crack fixes nothing – grappling/etc glitches are still there. As of right now, there is no 100% working crack.

    If anyone ever find a workaround to enable AA on ATI cards, please post here. I tried through 3DAnalyzer and by renaming the exe, no success so far.

    No physX for ATI is acceptable, but no AA for ATI is really a dumb decision by Eidos. They may have got a lot of money from NVidia, but they will never take any money from me, and I urge all ATI owners to do the same.

    Semi-related question… anyone who has beaten the game or come close… which upgrade should I choose, "Special Combo Takedown," "Critical Combo Strikes," "Twin Batarang," "Sonic Batarang"?

    check these out.

    Seems like from the Abandoned Tunnel you can grapple into the wall (right side of the last gate while facing it) to reach a secret floating platform from where you can glide to gotham city. Check the screens.

    I'm stuck @ 37% in Abandoned Tunnel following Sharps tail and it seems like gravity fix is not working. Either the thugs float up or the game crashes. I have spoken to cash also.

    @ jiggaboo … by glide to gotham i mean the weird skeleton of gotham. and even if u glide with anti-grav fix you never end on top of it. but you get to see the wayne tech office building from up-close … err … bottom close :)

    Did you have an invisible wall in botanical gardens? I have to stop ivy from destroying the island, i went through the botanical gardens entrance, and there is an invisible wall… :( I can't go any further, even vent shafts are stucked.

    hey guys,

    i just noticed on torrentleech that few hours ago they posted a new crack:
    Batman Arkham Asylum Updated CRACKFIX 2-TL [fix for save,glide,glide kick,grapple]

    this is what the nfo says:
    "
    Loader Batman Arkham Asylum update 2.

    This loader fix save (online, offline), glide, glide kick, grapple.
    You can try this with your current save – but it propably will not work.
    You need to start new game.

    Make backups of your saves frequently.
    Make backup on entering batcave (1st and 2nd time).

    Known issues: On 2nd batcave exit (with cure and ultra batclaw) there
    is flying/climbing/line launcher sequence on some rocks – after this – you back to
    sewers – you need to see enemies and Ivy plants there.

    If you not see enemies and plants – you encounter "wrong level load" issue.
    Exit game (Alt-F4), restore 2nd batcave savegame and try again.

    From there make backups of your savegames every time you see save icon (alt-tab)and if
    you encounter "wrong level load" restore last backup save and load it 3-4 times to get
    into correct level (with enemies and plants).

    Except above – game is works and now im on last boss, but still cant beat him.

    IF YOU ARE STUCK ON SCARECROW NUMBER 2 PLEASE READ:

    @AOTS

    About those saves, I tested all of them and they were all 50% except for one save which was 25% (just after scarecrow number 2, starts at the entrance to Ivy). I didn't touch my xlive folder and all I had to do was backup MY save0.sgd and replace it with the new one. No corrupt saves. About 50% of the save files in the link provided above are corrupt, but eventually you will find one that is at 25%.

    If you are stuck at Scarecrow 2 (like I am) then this is our only option for now. I am not sure what I am going to do as it will skip 8% of the story and I may just wait a few more days.

    For everyone's convenience, I have uploaded the 25% save here:

    I'm using Win7, put the save0.sgd into:

    My Documents/Eidos/Batman Arkham Asylum/SaveData/{YOURNUMBER}/save0.sgd

    Overwriting the original save (make sure it is backed up). Also make sure your original folder number stays the same. DO NOT REPLACE YOUR FOLDER NUMBER.

    iv been using the 00.rar crack for a few hours now and im 2nd at scarecrow with zero problem. i can play with physx 80% of the time, it seems lots of the physx files aremissig

    if you play the entire game in one go, you'll have little problems in fact, independently of the crack you choose.
    moreover, the beginning of the game til 30% runs pretty well without bugs, bugs come out on the last part of the game.

    If you guys get to 30% youre very lucky, i made to 15% and after coming out of the batcave y cant grapple up to the vent to exit, there is a grapple circle to the side but all it does is send you through the walls until you stop in the middle of nothing and cant do anything, and restarting the game doesnt fix it cuz ive done it a lot of times and still its the same.

    It doesn't work. Games says MSAA is not supported by this GPU and disables it.

    im stuck in 40% of the game, in the room next to the abandoned room inside the botanical garden, i cant reach the vent, there is no grappling point, ive changed the gravity values, but its impossible. if anybody can help me… i will sadly watch all the walkthrough on youtube eating popcorn. then i will shoot myself.

    I can confirm that the 00 crack (update 2) will allow you to play beyond the tunnel grapple point with no problems. The Windows Live program is active, ie you need to create an "offline" screen name. You don't need a serial and the saves work as normal. Note: Previous saves incompatible with this crack. Start from scratch.

    man, got to the joker party with the updated crack from this post, and now got a lot of errors, cant get past this part, got only the grapple bug on the first cave map, restarted and everything worked like a charm, but now im getting those damm errors, just when i was about to finish the game x.x

    For the grappling problem I used trainer with floating option. By pressing a button the B-man jumps up and then you press jump and B-man hangs on the vent. It is easier than using the gravity mumbo-jumbo in the .ini file. I needed to do that only two times trough the game and I am at 49% (by the crocs lair). I hope that no more bugs will occur because I really cant wait to beat this game.

    made 62% of the game just with a stupid trick; when i encountered a bug a just turned back to get a riddle, and than a could grapple and do whatever i want. i had a problem at scarecrow 3 elevator but i used gravity. Now i am the 3rd time at the batcave and i can't grapple to the vent that goes somewhere in krol's lair and my path back is blocked so i can't get any riddles -_-.

    i will be uploading saves from the original leak with original provided crack in a few minutes.

    i played through the game my first time up until 25% at the second scarecrow fight and got the ledge grapple glitch, and since i dont have a 360 controller i couldnt pass it.

    playing through once again non stop making save points before/after major events with labeled folders of such evenrts.

    If you're stuck on Scarecrow's second dream, go read post 945 for a workaround not requiring a controller.

    Guys, is anyone able to play with PhysX level 2 enabled? So that you could see the breaking walls, paper sheets flying from under batman's legs, dynamic fog, cool cobwebs etc?

    PhysX cannot be enabled from the launcher program, however it's possible to turn it on in the .ini file. The game crashes while loading on me, however :( If I start a new game, I'm able to play it for some time, and then again – General Protection fault :(

    I have 9600GT with latest drivers.

    ive ran tons of Physx games before, only ever had problems with some older games, wanting older versions of Physx, and newer games want newer versions…

    also, ive only configured my audio levels for Arkham. and i see all the things you listed. cobwebs in vents, papers flying around when i run by in the library, and for the breaking walls? if you mean the walls meant to be blown, are discolored and have holes in them, then yeah i see that too.

    i guess my computers so bad ass Arkham auto enabled all this hot stuff
