Back online
Just a quick note to let you know RLSLOG is online again after cca 24 hour downtime. The reason was much more simple this time, we performed a server upgrade, updated to latest kernel and this version was little problematic as it didn’t like our hardware/network card, so there had to be some changes made.
By the way, we know about the DVDRiP/Music Albums links problem, it’s caused by our caching software and we work with the developer of it on a fix. You don’t have to send any more emails about that issue. Thanks.

@11..
Shutup dude…@4 exercised their right to complain. Give it a rest.
I am finding w w w. z e r o s e c. w s has much more uptime and is additionally much faster than you guys for posting new scene releases.
@20,
Shut ur mouth. That's not my fault or rlslog that u and him are morons. I wish this site was blocked for ppl like u.
@21. Im sorry but that website sucks a$$ big time… rlslog owns them all.
Now thats a fact!
@22 Funny, i hadn't realised that they'd managed to train apes to use a computer.
@24,
Funny, so even apes are smarter than u.
@25
Nice whitty comeback, glad to see you took my insult and came back with a completely origonal one of your own.
Time to get a semi-decent sysadmin…..
@26,
That's the beauty of it. Besides, the fact that u waste your time for insulting people u don't know (in a site that gives u something for free) just because u have the opportunity, makes u miserable and idiot. And u should look for life too (well ur probably 12 years old nerd, so that's ok). congratulations buddy.
i hope plans for a backup system are in the works, first the site gets pwnd by franz ferdinand/web sheriff then the site fails due to a network card…
Wow seams rlslog is down more then it is up!
ty ty, keep the releases coming cheers
welcome back
who's this kernel-guy anyway?
i was hoping it was permanent
The website seems to still be running very slowly.
good to have you back online… i missed you for a day…
@34 true, was hoping it to
i miss this site in downtime…. its my #1
You are all sick, and you all don't know a damn thing about runnig a popular website with a server. so everybody shut up an be glad for all the releases!
I'm not sick #39, and I'm a NOC/Datacenter worker by profession so are you going to tell me to shut up? You probably are, with all the maturity of the demographic this site gets most of it's comments from (read: kids, children, adolescents etc)
Sure, things go wrong when you're upgrading and you hit a hiccup here and there that you didn't expect and this results in more downtime, but surely with all the advertising and paid-for reviews that Martin does he could afford a backup server, even if it's just for letting us know what the story is. Of course you're going to rebuff with a "go to the forum", well I would have if it wasn't dog slow yesterday (and most of the time unresponsive).
So I suggest either Martin gets a better system admin who can implement correct backup/failover procedures or purchase another dedicated server (virtual or not) for hosting the forum and/or load-sharing.
Now, before you also start going on about how Martin doesn't get enough money and he should start taking donations why don't you remember that not too long ago a number of editors (who were also incredibly juvenile) revolted, and part of their problem was that Martin gets all the money from ad revenue and paid reviews. This is obviously a big enough amount for people to want to screw him over, so it's not some low, insignificant figure like $40/month. With that in mind, the next time Martin has to send in somebody to the datacenter to troubleshoot a hardware error I'd appreciate if he didn't try to gain our sympathies with the update saying that sending in a datacenter worker cost him a lot of money, because if he was smart about all that money this site is generating there would have been a little fund for such emergencies.
Now, with all that said I'm not hating on RLSLOG at all, merely the management decisions made to date. I'm just trying to help out with some constructive criticism. I'd much appreciate it if you thought out any response in a similar fashion.
And lastly, I'd consider it highly ironic if you were to attack my post now while using your NoScript and AdBlocker…
@40 …Dilbert, is that you?
