The deceased come back to life in Babylon fields. In zombie format, they return to their previous household dwelling and proceed to take over and live in their houses. Most of the zombies go around in grey clothing that is covered in dirt. Dead people from different eras start walking around town in period accurate clothing as well.The show reeks of low budget with no-name actors and poor special effects. The towns people from Babylon New Island go wild in fear but there really is nothing to fear as these zombies don’t thirst for flesh, they just walk around. Anyways this show really sucks, good thing it was rejected by CBS. But if you’re curious to see it there is a torrent download just below.

entertaining to say the least. and by that i mean least entertaining – albeit humourous.
the director of this ought to be drawn and quartered. the premise and script are quite good, but the directing is pure horror. the producer has a lot to answer for as well.
I’ll add it to my collection of failed pilot episodes… heh

Are you all simpletons? It’s an interesting premise. Does originality scare you? I just finished watching this and think it’s too bad that it wasn’t given a chance to develop. I can think of innumerable shows where the pilot wasn’t very good but the series was great. This pilot was fine, if not brilliant.

Did anyone notice that all the voice/fx are on the left channel and the music is on the right? Or is that just me..

I really enjoyed this. I really like horror movies, but strangely not really because of gore and violence, i like them because i like things that invoke thoughts in my mind, good or bad. And for me the idea of the “living dead” is interesting.
And it’s nice to watch a zombie story that isn’t about them being on a quest for brains and/or flesh, and the story actually being about the zombies as much or more then about the living trying to stay alive and such.
I like the zombie movie “Fido” a lot but this was way better.
this would have been a really great show instead of idiot crossovers like Reaper or Chuck…
This has been around for about 2 or 3 months now, strange that anyone would bother repacking it after all this time.
Pity it’s 4:3 and not widescreen, but worth a watch.

There is a french movie that it has the same story!!!! It’s called Les Revenants, never watched it but it’s three of four years old, I think that it was released on USA with the name They Come Back.

This is far from a no name production. The Director is from Showtime’s Dexter and Six Feet Under and it stars Kathy Baker who is an Emmy winning actress from the great show “Picket Fences”.
