Its been a while since I’ve posted, I had to give the holidays and my family all my time. Today I have time to squeeze in a few posts so im going to take advantage of it. EMBRACE brings us AVG internet Security I haven’t used AVG since they moved to 8.0 so I couldn’t tell you if this is a good program or not…Enjoy.

when using this with the keymaker wouldnt the key get black listed?
If You people would watch out where You browse or what You download then in most cases You wouldn't need any antiviruses (except now when internet browsers and their flaws account for many infections). Just my thought

Worth checking out, the AVG rootkit scanner is a must have these days, with most new viruses and downloader trojans installing hidden rootkits, AVG rootkit tool is awesome, or you can just download the free RootKit app by itself.
How long is the key valid for?
Hopefully over a year?

Hello and thanks, there are some questions left unanswered:
- When using this with the keymaker, won't the key get blacklisted rather soon? Has anyone tried?
- How long is the key valid for, when calculated by the Embrace keygen?
- Can one download updates etc. with this version of AVG, when unlocked with an Embrace keygen?
A virusscanner without fresh signature files is entirely useless.
Just like all the versions of F-Secure in the recent years which got blacklisted upon trying to update the signature files.
While in theory it is interesting and already an achievement to find the pattern necessary for a key to trick the software into accepting it as valid, practically for us lazy & poor users such a key(maker) is useless.
But thanks anyway. Maybe it does even work (if only until the next software update). I am still hoping for reports by users.

Rootkit scanner.The only important thing missing from the free version.The realtime detections is the same.Still rootkit scanners in commercial av's are quite innefective.
Gmer is the tool to get but unless you're an advanced user you won't know what the hell the scanner is showing
I've had a legit copy for a while now and all I can say is that they've been getting worse every year.
My biggest complaint about it is that AVG8's update component keeps resetting itself to disabled.
Doesn't feel very light anymore either.

Comodo Internet Security….. ITS FREE why pay for or crack this stuff when FREE stuff is just as good
I only installed antivirus so that I don't get infected by various virus infected crap contained in usb flash drives my friends bring to me.
My other PC does not have antivirus at all and runs perfectly without any malware in it.
#7 is right. Internet would be a !!!LOT!!! better if there would be less dumb ppl who click on everything they see !!!
Then there would be no need to use or develop antiviruses at all.

same old thing, the most viruses i have caught have been from this site so lesson learned i dont download from here direct its not safe and is a breeding ground for twats who think its a giggle to spoil peoples machines for fun, karma will find those dumbasses for sure, ive used eset for 2 years without issue and no systems crashes, slowdowns, errors.

AVG is the absolute WORST. It has so many false positives, and lets so much crap through, it's really not worth the free download.
