Avast served me for years, i tried them all. But Avast remains supreme. Avast detects virus and attacks like a firewall does.

who cares what av is better, there are some good ones out there, like kasp nod and avast….but the most important protection would be you. watch what u do on the net. reg-ing all over the place, download crap you think u can trust, use sh*t like msn to contact so called buddy’s surf without paying attention where u actually land…………

sry man. i didnt mean AVG. i meant avast v 4.7 antivirus protection. for some reason i thought it was abbreviation. you can tell cause avg is 7.5 is current and avast is 4.7 current

so avast recognizing its own keygen?

avast is pretty good, definatly the best free av
AntiVir is pretty damn good, but the gui is a bit ugly
nod32 v3 gui is gorgeous , now has beauty to match its brains

Ive used avast for a few years…always done a good job…recognise that there may be more than one good program out there. Ill stay true to Avast…its simple user interface combined with low system resource use makes it favourable for me…and they also recently managed to remove the annoying AV definition update voice…LAWL…

NOD and kaspersky are good too…go with any1 of those free and be safe…always wear a rubber… alotta nasty virii out there…
