AUTODESK MAYA UNLIMITED V2009 SP1A WIN32-XFORCE

Autodesk just released a revision to Maya 2009 Service Pack 1, called SP1a.  It addresses a few issues in the current service pack, but will require you to uninstall your existing SP1 and install this update.

    Would anyone be able to point me in the direction of a good site with step by step – easy to understand tutorials, say for building a 3d car model?

    You can grab the original program off Autodesk's website. Just grab the trial version.

    And if you're looking to build models of cars, you may like Alias Automotive more than Maya.
