		<description>Wish I paid attention at Uni when we were getting learnt this. Or even better, wish I had a good lecturer. 

Brilliant software, and not that hard really. Just requires a good PC, with some nice RAM. Stacks and stacks of tutorials on the interweb to learn you absolutely everything. Animation is much easier these days with 3DMax, as you can download and import timelines (forgot the proper term for them) of say; walking, running, throwing something, jumping, sliding, running and turning, and attatch them onto your model- hey presto!. Done in seconds.

If only I spent as much time in 3DMax as I did in Photoshop :-S</description>

if you don&#039;t know what 3DS Max is, you are better of not downloading it.
And to answer your question, yeah they probably use 3DS Max to make models for games like Halo, but game programming requires much more such as a game engine e.t.c.</description>
