Wow looks like all of our TV editors are away or no one saw this pre, a day late/after it aired in the US. Well anyways, one of my favorite non-premium cable summer shows is back for another hopefully funny and kick-ass season. Now that Survivor and Office have had their season finales, the thursday night must-see-tv timeslot is open for Last Comic Standing, NBCs summer standup comedy, hit reality competition is back for its 6th season. And its bigger and better in all ways with contestants trying out from 6 continents and 20 countries for $250,000 & NBC talent contract, a brand new Honda Pilot, and the title of Last Comic Standing. FQM brings us a nice PDTV rip of the season opener.

One of my all time favorite (tv) groups, barring their love for DSR, is back again with a bang. This time with the 4th season opener of Comedy Central hit - Mind of Mencia. I’m sure many of you know who Carlos Mencia is and might even be a fan of his show/standup. Speaking of his standups, aAF actually released his Vegas show “Carlos.Mencia.Performance.Enhanced.DSRip.XviD-aAF” just three days ago. I highly recommened getting and watchin that as well cause its hilarious.

Death is the ultimate unknown; something we both fear and are intrigued by. 1,000 Ways to Die chronicles the last moments of people who met an untimely demise by making bad choices or through sheer bad luck. This is the final episode of the 2-part miniseries. To repeat my comments from the first ep, this is a great show and I enjoyed it. Yeah I know the subject topic is kinda gruesome for some or w/e … but this is an insightful show, plus entertaining as well as educational.

Photoshoot goes into Top Gear

ABU DHABI - Psst, buddy, can you spare me a sports car? Yes, evidently, three of them. This weekend Top Gear, the UK-based car magazine, which is in the country for a photo shoot, sent out an urgent request for an unusual car, the million-dollar Bugatti Veyron.

It was hoping for one. Instead, it was offered three of the vehicles, which cost more than Dhs 4.4 million (USD $1.2m) each. “No other place in the world could we have found three Bugattis in a span of 48 hours,” said a relieved Charlie Turner, the creative director for the magazine.

The cars were tracked down by the Abu Dhabi Tourism Authority and belong to local owners who wish to remain anonymous. Built by Volkswagen, the 1,000-horsepower vehicle can reach 255 MPH (407 KPH). One car in the shoot, a gleaming aluminium-bodied model, is one of only five in the world.

With a slogan like “Lose The Race, Lose Your Ride.”, how could I resist watching this adrenaline-infused show from the SPEED Network Channel. I don’t think we have covered this show in the past, but since I saw the latest two eps pre by OMiCRON: I decided it was time I covered this for all gearheads and racing fans alike among us out here. The premise of this show is simple as stated in the slogan - Using the setting of a classic 1950s like drag racing strip, PiNKS pits two contestants and their rides in a best three-out-of-five format, with the loser handing over the title (pink slip) to his or her vehicle. Combining the exhilaration of high speed drag racing with the risk of high-stakes gambling, PiNKS just might be the ultimate reality show.

Sorry about the delayed post on this one, and since no one had posted about this till now I thought I should cover the release - that of the final ep of one of my favorite shows on TV currently. The season and most probably the series finale of this show aired last night and was excellent in every which way. They wrapped it up really well all things considered. I really hope this isn’t the last that we’re seeing of Jericho and I hope another network (current talks are with Sci-Fi) picks up this show and gives it a new home to foster in.

Anyways once again LOL (and DiMENSiON for 720p) win the race for this release as they have been doing all season long and give us a great HDTV rip.
The finale is titled “Patriots and Tyrants” where - Stanley comes out of hiding to bury a loved one. Eric has a meeting with a sworn enemy. Major Beck learns the truth about who he works for. Jake & Hawkins go on one final mission to retrieve the bomb and stop the Cheyenne Government from taking over the country.

Hello everyone this is Yankee back again here after a long break. Anyways, it’s Wednesday and that can only mean one thing - another brand spanking new episode of South Park, woo hoo!! Last couple weeks, 0TV pre’d the South Park episodes, and it was nice to have them all without any glitches. Well, they win once again and continue that streak this week as well with the release of tonight’s episode fairly quickly.

This week’s episode titled “Major Boobage” is - A South Park homage to the 1981 film, “Heavy Metal”, the boys are trying to get Kenny off the latest drug craze that’s captured the junior high and under set.
