OK, this one is classic. REVEiLLE just released the 720p BluRay Rip of the 1987 movie “The Last Emperor”. The film is a biopic about the life of Puyi, the last Emperor of China, whose autobiography was the basis for the screenplay written by Mark Peploe and Bernardo Bertolucci. Enjoy!
PLOT: A biography of Aisin-Gioro “Henry” Pu Yi, who at the age of three was named the Emperor of China, and dies as a gardener at the Botanical Gardens of Peking. Told in an interesting flashback/flashforward style, we learn of Pu Yi’s childhood, the time he spent imprisoned in the Forbidden City, his term as the emperor of Japans Manchuguo, and his eventual release back to public life in 1959.

Besides ALLiANCE’s “Max Payne”, DoNE brings us another major movie release today, which is “How To Lose Friends and Alienate People”. This comedy is based upon British writer Toby Young’s 2001 memoir of the same name. The film follows a similar storyline, about his five year struggle to make it in the United States after employment at Sharps magazine.
PLOT: Sidney Young is a disillusioned intellectual who both adores and despises the world of celebrity, fame and glamour. His alternative magazine, Post Modern Review, pokes fun at the media obsessed stars and bucks trends, and so when Young is offered a job at the diametrically opposed conservative New York based Sharps magazine its something of a shock! It seems Sharps editor Clayton Harding is amused by Young’s disruption of a post-BAFTA party with a pig posing as Babe. Thus begins Sidney’s descent into success - his gradual move from derided outsider to confidante of starlet Sophie Maes - and a love affair with colleague Alison Olsen, that will either make him or break him.

Normally we don’t cover NDS console game here, since there are tons pred everyday. But I may just give an exception to this one. I cannot express how much I love this game. I began to play it since I was a little kid and now I’m still playing from time to time. And the 7th Metal Slug will only launch on NDS platform, so you might just grab this one to have a try. (My bad, also XBOX360 platform). Both JPN and USA version have been released before, this one is EUR version, with 5 different languages.
