ESPiSE have just brought us a highly rated (7.9 on IMDB) asian movie called The Children of Huang Shi. The movie features a recognizable cast that includes the likes of Chow Yu-Fat, Jonathan Rhys Meyers(Bend it like beckham) , Radha Mitchell (Silent hill) and Michelle Yeon (Crouching tiger) that should atleast make you click the download button. Additionally, the movie plot should strike some interest to you as it involves saving orphans and is meant to be based on a true story. As for the release, the movie quality is excellent and audio is loud and crisp, although it is a dvdscr, do expect some BW or some logo’s or text during the movie.

Plot: Inspired by true events, THE CHILDREN OF HUANG SHI is a portrayal both sweeping and intimate of people who, thrown into an unexpected and desperate situation, discover their capacity for love and responsibility. Hey people, Nikesh over here! No i havent gone missing and i have been on a long holiday but I am glad to tell you guys that i am back and ready to post some movies!
As with all movies news, BeStDivX brings us something unique and usually the unexpected. This time around, it’s a spanish movie with english audio. The movie itself isn’t anything more than the plot and it involves a hostage situation and the people who are involved in it . As for the release, the video quality is pretty average and nothing special in the audio department.

Plot: Deals with 90 minutes in a kidnapped hostage’s life, and the frustration his family, a special ops team, and a man in charge of delivering the ransom money all feel as they rush to save him.

Its been a slow, yet boring 13 days into 2008. Where we witnessed our first TC and today reserved bring us a really lowly rated action movie (2.8 out of 10). As expected, the movie quality is excellent and the audio is on par with the picture, however, do not underestimate this movie because it only has 6 votes.

Plot: Accomplished martial arts star Andre Lima makes headway in the acting world with his role as a professional fighter in BEYOND THE RING. Lima’s character has retired from the ring but is forced back into action when his daughter’s medical bills skyrocket. Gary Busey and Martin Kove (THE KARATE KID) co-star in this frantic action flick.

Another one for sunday: About A Son is a documentary about the famous guitarist Kurt Cobain. Fortunately, the plot sounds like a decent documentary and it may also appeal to fans of Kurt and curious downloaders. COALiTiON have released a DVDSCR of the movie so the video quality and audio quality will be excellent but do expect the usual stuff (Cropped movie, blurred out watermarks etc).

An intimate and moving meditation on the late musician and artist Kurt Cobain, based on more than 25 hours of previously unheard audiotaped interviews conducted with Cobain by noted music journalist Michael Azerrad for his book “Come As You Are: The Story of Nirvana.” In the film, Kurt Cobain recounts his own life - from his childhood and adolescence to his days of musical discovery and later dealings with explosive fame - and offers often piercing insights into his life, music, and times. The conversations heard in the film have never before been made public and they reveal a highly personal portrait of an artist much discussed but not particularly well understood.

If things couldn’t get better, NeDiVx today released a much improved release of the movie The Brave One (found here). NeDiVx release means we won’t have to worry about the silly cam or line-in audio. As expected with this release, it includes both quality video as well as audio. So if you have been patient and skipped out on the last release this is the one to get.

First up is, Run Granny Run, which was pre’d by group DOMiNO. It seems this is their second low budget release of the day. Anyways, the movie quality and audio makes the DOMiNO quality stamp. Also, i can’t really comment on the movie itself since i have not watched it, but, i do recommend a visit to their imdb page.

Next we have is another Disney film that is different from the usual crap. The movie is called Johnny Kapahala: Back on Board. Also, the movie quality along with the audio is as expected but i can’t really comment on how good the film and acting is, since it is a disney film.

Plot: In the movie, Johnny Kapahala, a teen snowboarding champion from Vermont, returns to Oahu, Hawaii, for the wedding of his hero — his grandfather, local surf legend Johnny Tsunami — and to catch a few famous Kauai waves. When Johnny’s grandfather and his new wife open a surf shop that also caters to mountain boarders, they are soon embroiled in a turf war with a rival shop owner who wants to shut their business down.

Well, if you have been following the history of this movie, then i am glad to tell you that unknown group DPK have done it again and released another r5 for our busy holidays. As usual with their releases there is always a small problem with their audio, it’s in french this time and to top it off there is no subtitles. The image quality is great, but most people will probably wait for some proper English rip.
