This movie has been posted here in its R5 and DVDRip versions already, but this time well-known group DoNE releases a PROPER that’s meant to fix bad crop and pixelation. The movie looks interesting with a high IMDB score and a promising cast. Quality is normal 1 CD. High video bitrate and MP3 audio.

Synopsis: Like Tim Burton’s EDWARD SCISSORHANDS and the TV show PUSHING DAISIES, PENELOPE is a modern fairy tale, complete with candy colors and whimsical cinematography. With a shocking rating of 0% on RT (0/34 fresh), this should be a ‘pass’ for all the but the most enthusiastic Comedy fans. As for NeDiVx’s release, quality is very good with 1010k video bitrate and standard MP3 audio on one CD. Have fun (?).

“Autumn Hearts: A New Beginning”, aka “Emotional Arithmetic”, is a Drama film starring big names such as Gabriel Byrne, Susan Sarandon and Christopher Plummer. Unfortunately, initial ratings are not promising (14% on RT). As for the quality, it looks very good, but the sample provided is too short to tell for certain. iMMORTALs mention black & white scenes in NFO. All in all, a nice, watchable DVDSCR.

Synopsis: Emotional Arithmetic tells the story of three people who formed a life-long bond while housed at a detention camp during World War II that are reunited some 35 years later after being separated from one another. Jakob Bronski, a young Jewish man, took a shine to two youngsters, Melanie and Christopher, while they were interred, by the Nazis, at Drancy, a housing complex on the outskirts of Paris that was used as a detention camp for Jews. Drancy operated as a way station; once there, having your name put on the wrong list meant relocation to a death camp.

This seems like a fun comedy, especially for people who hate their jobs and can relate. Meaning, almost everyone. Now, the big promise of this film is actually not so much the comedy, but rather the fact that Neve Campbell is topless here. If you’re just going to get it for that reason, I’ll save you the time with this link (please kids, don’t click!). Quality is peachy at just 1 CD, and we can have no complaints to group iNTiMiD.

This movie has been on here before in DVDRip quality, but group Larceny decided to PROPER it due to some scenes having hard-coded Italian subs. As a bonus, this version is on 2 CDs, has very high video bit-rate at 1280k and yummy AC3 audio. Directed by the infamous Francis Ford Coppola and featuring Tim Roth and Matt Damon, it really surprised me to see that the film was bashed on RT (28%). Anyway, this is another good release by Larceny.

Synopsis: A love story wrapped in a mystery. “Youth Without Youth” stars Tim Roth as Dominic Matei, a professor whose life changes after a cataclysmic incident during the dark years prior to World War II.
