Synopsis: Music-video-director-turned-auteur Michel Gondry continues to charm with his low-tech offering, BE KIND REWIND. This hyped comedy is now available in DVDRip quality. I’m sure many of you will be glad to see that DiAMOND is in charge of the release, which means the odds of sync issues and missing scenes is slim to none, but unfortunately, DiAMOND seems to pay little respect to the sound quality. The flick runs 110 minutes long, but it’s packed to just 1 CD with MP3 audio (again). If this means nothing to you, then surely you will enjoy the release. Otherwise, seek an internal AC3 version.

Synopsis: DRILLBIT TAYLOR tells the story of three nerdy adolescents who, on their very first day of high school, find themselves the target of a merciless, near psychotic bully. The friends band together and pool their funds to hire a personal bodyguard, Drillbit Taylor (Owen Wilson). It’s DiAMOND-friday and this time they bring us a very decent family adventure flick. What might disappoint you is that, yet again, they’ve chosen to pack their release on 1 CD. It’s not too bad, since the movie only runs 96 minutes long, but it’s just MP3 audio… Either way, great release.

Fans of the Horror genre, rejoice. Fabled group PUKKA released the R5 version of this new spook film. Ratings are shameful, but if you liked movies like “The Ring” and “The Grudge” then you won’t care. Video quality looks brilliant, but the LINE sound is lacking.

“Normal” was just released by “CuCu”. I had to say that. This Drama is starring Matrix bad-ass Carrie-Anne Moss in a challenging role as a mother who lost her son. There aren’t many ratings to go by. 6.6 on IMDB is the result of only 63 votes, and there’s no RT score yet (despite a few negative reviews). Quality is your normal 1 CD pack.

Synopsis: Moss plays Catherine, a mother filled with rage and unable to recover from the death of her teenage son in a car crash. Rennie plays Walt, a literature professor trying to overcome his guilt from the accidental killing.
