@ js – while the US may be about to vote a black man (although really half) into office that does not prove America more racially tolerant than Australia or any less. The US black minority is far greater than the Australian black minority. US blacks account for somewhere around 13% of the population whereas Australia’s largest ‘black’ minority would be the indigenous people of Australia accounting for merely 2% of the population.
You got to put things in perspective when you go around making statements like that.
