Failed on my first try – audio was screeching sound

Cons: I immediately tried to join two AVI files. The first time I selected WMV output. The join operation completed, but when I played the results, the audio had been converted to screeching noise. I tried again, asking it to join the two AVI files and produce another AVI file (no major format conversion). Again, I got the same screeching audio. Now trying next shareware download…

Cons: When i converted a video from AVI to MPEG it added some “Finishing Touches” by COMPLETLY destroying the video!

Cons: Though it seemed to be a ‘all-in-one’ program, I only needed one thing from it: convert a VOB file into mpeg. For a 20min file lenght I waited more than 2hours! So, after a wasted afternoon, finaly gave up and looked for another program.

Doesn’t Do Squat

Pros: Doesn’t appear to do any damage to your computer.

Cons: 23 minutes into converting a 844 KB MOV into an AVI file, the Task Manager shows 100% CPU utilization, and there’s still no AVI file. Slow doesn’t begin to describe this dog – rigor mortis is more accurate. I’ve tried the conversion twice, and have yet to end up with a converted file. It appears that the download is just 13.8 MB of code that eats up idle CPU cycles without actually DOING anything. SIGH…next download…..

Cons: Very slow in executing operations and can only burn VCD in mpeg. The convertion of avi. etc to mpeg is very slow.

Cons: This is a totally useless program. I tried a few things, like joining and converting. It takes ages. The joined movie was upside down (!) The conversion led to a very small file that couldn’t be played. I gave up on the other features. Don’t waste your time and money.

Not sure what the scene rules are in cases like this, but after checking the official web site, it appears that this is version 3.3.47, not 3.3.49. I downloaded the official installer from the site and it’s byte-for-byte identical to the one in the archive.

I’m confused, does this take the place of all the other separate programs the company sells? Specifically, will it accept an AVI file as input and produce a set of DVD files ready to burn to a 4.5GB blank? They sell a separate program that will do this, but after reading the list of features for Aurora Media workshop several times, I’m still not clear if this will do that as well.

i just tried to load this.i downloadwd it from rapidshare.i got a virus gilda beware all.also i couldnt open the files it kept asking for another folder..what crap..this seems to happen with a lot of rapidshare downloads.i think they add viruses..
