Atreyu – Congregation Of The Damned 2009 – 404

Atreyu is an American metalcore band from Orange County, California, formed in 1998. I havent really heard anything about this band before but i had a special request to post this, so here it is :)

For Congregation of the Damned, Atreyu expressed an interest in returning to their “heavy hardcore” roots, following 2007’s Lead Sails Paper Anchor, while also wanting to “move forward.”  Comparing the new album to Lead Sails, drummer Brandon Saller stated that “there were parts of ‘Atreyu’ missing and that we needed back, so we’ve brought them back.” He also went on to claim that the band had been “reflecting on how far we’ve come and where from. It’s stepping forward to new territory but taking with us the best of where we’ve been.”[3] Similarly, lead singer Alex Varkatzas claimed that the record is a “mix of everything we’ve ever done. For every song that’s more melodic or rock-driven there’s a total shitkicker, and I think that’s what makes us a well-rounded band.”

    Any band that names themselves after the hero from “Neverending Story” hasn’t got much credaility to start, but then to find the band is a bunch of spoilt brats from California… bleh! Metalcore…. double bleh!

    I’m guessing whomever requested this is related to the band in some form, or has a überhuge set of ovaries.

    Reply #7 is further proof that those who listen to bands such as this have severe intellectual deficiencies.

    Rather than try to structure an argument that proves that this band with a name from a childrens film filled with muppets is actally a decent metal band, they instead proceed to call my comments “dumbass”, call my handle “dumb” (which for someone with the handle “a|ice” is the pot calling the kettle black), and then orders me to stop being an ass.

    **NEWSFLASH** This comment section is for everyone to comment about the item, good OR bad.

    While most commenters will fill it with spam, or relevant links to download sites, I chose to comment about the actual subject. If you don’t agree with my comments then tough titties. Just becuase someone doesn’t like something you do, doesn’t make them dumb or an ass or a combination of the two.

    And since you directly attacked me, allow me to retort:

    Your handle (which I assume is ment to read as “Alice”) proves that listeners of this band have ovaries (since Alice is a girls name). And deducing from your language skills (or lack of) I would say your age is in the 10-15 years old bracket and your IQ is in a similar range. I also guess you have some sort of crush on one or more of the band members, so your opinion of thier musical talent is tainted by your raging hormones.

    If you are going to respond Alice, please put a bit more thought into it this time, and try to include points that prove Atrayu isnt a bunch of pretty boys who cashed in on the Linkin Park craze with thier parents money.

    If you were a REAL METALHEAD you would appreciate the band for their talent in making/playing music, not based off of their name or their personal background. If there is anyone who can not structure a good arguement due to “severe intellectual deficiencies” it is you. Mainly for the fact that you are not a true music fan, your just a so called “metalhead” who wants to put in their comments about an album you probably won’t listen to. Therefore, making you a DRAMA QUEEN!You probably didn’t get hugged enough so you have to be the center of attention..it’s sad really and most people are laughing at your ignorance.     I honestly wouldn’t know, however, I found a torrent for it at thepiratebay.org, and just in case you’re not fammiliar with torrents, you’ll most likely need a program called utorrent or another bit torrent client
