Great release, love this program!
I noticed a massive difference in this after v5 came out but I hadn’t noticed any bugs that needed fixing, but with a size of only 16Mb, then why not. I dl’d Traktor yesterday and spent about 5 minutes on it before saying “PASS!”

this is the reason i stopped using my old decks. dont think theres much point in updating if you have 5.1 though.
Well. I tested it and compared with MixMeister. Tried Traktor also. I would recommend to try MixMeister, i felt it is more intuitive. Good mixing everyone.

alright, I hate people who say vdj is crap and such. I have used almost all dj programs, it depends on what you need. If you like to dj trance, house and such, traktor is a much better app, mixing more then 2 trances songs
vdj is a little less of a hog and runs pretty well, its not an amazing progam but it does the job.
As a house dj who mainly uses time-coded vinyls I can’t really say too much about appz like that. Most functions I’ll never use. If it has to be PC and mixing without any special controllers I prefer traktor (although I will never really get over the fact of just having ONE mouse instead of two hands LOL). Also for my music the auto beatmatching in traktor seems too be better than in any other app I’ve tried (but still makes a lot of mistakes without some pre-tweaking).
As to being a real DJ if you use appz like that I can say this: Most people who care about HOW you mix are from my experience either drunk idiots standing around the booth and distracting you or the boring always-complaining part of the audience. Peeps who are in club to really dance and enjoy themselves care mostly about WHAT you play. The second kind of people are the one DJs are playing for. I’ve heard so many awsome all-digital sets that really rocked the crowd by now. Who am I to go up there and tell the guy playing them he’s not a real DJ? By the way: Club DJs who play digital have CHOSEN to do so, it’s not that they can only DJ that way.
All I know is I have never “DJed” anything before and when I used this playing some techno shiznit it was pretty cool..considering I really did not know wtf I was doing…so cheers to whoever came up with this software being that it is small and does so much… now I can make lots of money mixing and recording songs for the nations to hear… AHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAA! Ok… wasnt that funny
