Atomix Virtual DJ Pro v5.0R5-FOSI

FOSI group has released newest revision of this popular DJ/VJ mixing software.

VirtualDJ is the hottest MP3 mixing software, targeting every DJ from bedroom DJs to professional superstars like Carl Cox.
With its breakthrough BeatLock engine, your songs will always stay in the beat, and you can work your mixes incredibly faster than any other DJ could.

The automatic seamless loop engine and the brand new synchronised sampler will let you perform astounding remixes live, with no preparation at all.
The visual representation and the cues allow you to clearly see the song’s structure, and never be surprised by a break anymore.
The vinyl controls will let you scratch like on a real turntable, except that with the beatlock engine your scratches will never end out of the beat.

Add to that an infinite number of cue points you can save for each songs, a bunch of wonderful effects automatically beat-synchronised.

Add also several interfaces to suit everybody from the beginner to the professional DJ, the possibility to record your mixes to burn them on CDs, to broadcast on the Internet and have your own radio station, to save your CDs directly in MP3, to use a headphone to preview the songs or an external mixtable to perform in a club.

Lastly, enter the new era of DJs by mixing video clips (DVD, DivX, MPEG…) which you can send on a giant screen.

Virtual DJ brings you all that, in the most easy-to-use way, and at the most affordable price.

    @4 Bolt656

    I have traktor, virtual DJ and PCDJ. I haven’t tried Deckadance but I’ll try it sometime. The order of “best” in terms of most features would be traktor then vdj and then pcdj but vdj is the one I use way more then any other, do I consider it better then traktor, I dont think so but it does have plugins which traktor doesn’t have thus more effects then traktor except in traktor you can have 4 decks and in vdj you can’t.

    @Dr Gonzo
    Well if you’re going to get technical .. why bother with digital? Just use your decks! Why even bother with FS? Thats like me hooking up my Pioneer CDJ-1000 MK3’s and then playing out of an ipod.. an insult to the Pioneers!

    @Carlos

    I would say Traktor, Deckadance .. and thats it. Vurtual Dj with its animated turntables is more gimmy/joke than being serious. Earlier versions you couldn’t even cue or monitor with them – hardly appropriate for a club environment! Plugins and all that are well and good, but after a while – how much more can you use? The last thing you need is a cluttered interface when DJing live. This same reason is why Traktor now is going down hill in my opinion. They have covered the interface with so much stuff – you have to be careful with mouse clicks. Yeah sure you can remoev units you dont want, but you shouldnt have to. Its like every year they cram more and more features into your desktop resolution. Having said that – Traktor is still the most rock solid for a professional environment. PCDJ could have been the next big thing. They were first on the block but they just don’t seem to give a crap anymore – so for that reason, they won’t be anywhere.

    You can tell the best software packages by which famous DJ’s are using them – Traktor and Deckadance have their share .. the rest? exactly!

    @Bolt656

    ..indeed, and i am “mostly” a vinyl man but i figured since i dont have a spare £8000 for a vinyl press to press my own tunes i`ve made then Final Scratch is the best way of getting my material into my mixes without getting into CD decks, as back when i bought FS, the CDJ1000 were the best CD decks on the market… and were still no where near tactile enough for me, but with the Numark & Technics models now FS is somewhat redundant, but i find its still the best way to attain the same tactile control over the mix, that is STILL lacking with jog-wheels no matter what CD deck there on…

    Um…whats the serial code?

  19. Jack

    @ MB

    Check the NFO

  20. Mike
    October 29th, 2007 | 06:19

    @MB

    What Jack is saying is that the serial code is written in the NFO file included in the release. You need to open and read that file to gain the information you seek.

    Good luck, we’re all counting on you.

    I use this kind of DJ software a lot in live environments and this version of VDJ I think is vastly improved, has some quite powerful features (though I’d recommend having the video permanently disabled) and seems much more robust, Traktor has gone bloatware with a horrible design ever since the horrible v3 came out (even though it never crashed on me live)

    Deckadance is not bad but actually I am going to use this from now on

    Note to the english about fosi, Fosi is actually a woman. Typical of the inbred english to act like morons/northern monkeys and cowards.

    @Mack

    ..what the hell are you on about dude, i dont really much give a toss whether fosi is a man, a woman or a kangaroo.

    ..take your pointless babble someplace else and do your best to remove that stick from your áss, you`ll find sitting down far more comfortable.

    @Bolt656

    I respect what you wrote but its not all true. I have many DJ friend’s who use and love Virtual DJ. It’s alot easier in terms of not being able to make mistakes with mouse clicks but its user interface can be changed to so many things, its very stable despite having its issues from time to time. I still haven’t tried the one you suggestion but I will soon.
