Atomic Bulk Mail Sender (AMS) is a program with built-in tracking facilities to design, send and monitor bulk personalized messages. AMS is not just a secure direct mailer, with AMS you can also control and compare the effectiveness of your email campaigns by monitoring who, from what country and when opens your email, clicks links or loads images. So, being integrated with Atomic Email Tracker (web-based newsletter monitoring system), the program can be set to create an invisible code and insert it into sent messages. Once you are registered with the Mail Tracker service and the campaign name is created in AMS, our system starts monitoring the status of every email sent out under that email campaign name.
Atomic Mail Sender accepts mailing lists generated in Excel, Access, DBF, Word, made in ASCII text files (.txt, .lst) as well. Our group mailer can edit recipients lists importing emails from your Outlook address book or use mailing lists generated by our Email Extractor or any other email harvester. The number of email addresses is unlimited. If you wish you can reach a million people by sending them individual emails at once and without that embarrassing exposure of email addresses to other recipients of your message.

Uh… no. It could be used for that purpose, but so can Yahoo! mail (I see that a lot more than private email clients, so I’m gonna say the former is much more popular).

Yes, I’m anti-MS, like a lot of ppl are, but when many business/corporate offices use Outlook (whether Exchange or not) and you have the functionality of work email, personal email, tasks/calendar etc all together, along with the ability of being able to sync to your Blackberry, you have to ask yourself why you should get 5 pieces of software to do the same thing that one will do it all.

There are actually addons for Thunderbird that integrates stuff. For example “Lightning” is Sundbird INSIDE Thunderbird, so you already have mail/tasks/calendar in one program. I am quite sure there is also a possibility to sync with Blackberrys, as for example via BirdieSync (addon) I can sync it all with my Windows Mobile 6 Pocketphone.
Also Outlook is REALLY bad when you are working with more than one IMAP Account. Plus it costs you quite a lotta money, where in the case of Thunderbird you get it all for free (or for 19 Euro if you use Birdie Sync).
Believe me, I REALLY wanted to switch to Outlook for quite a few reasons but in the end I found Thunderbird being the most stable and productive solution.
(And yes, I tried all the others like Eudora, etc. too)

Lay off the poster. I think this post is awesome. I need this for my personal mailing list, and this would rock so much! Marketing costs are very expensive, and this program provides that for free without purchasing of a dedicated server (expensive).
Additionally, about the people saying “oh noz rls log is posting material that will be used for “spamming” or “bombing”.
Spaming: The reason spammers won’t use this is because it is impractical. It runs on computers, and isn’t designed to send spam. If you take ONE second to read what THIS program does, and have a bit of knowledge on how email is sent, and the prococols it involves, then you will realize that its using two sticks to start a fire, when you have a lighter in your pocket. There are betting apps out there for spamming.
Bombing: It’s not used for bombing. Nuff said.
