I have an alarm clock radio and my tv to wake me up (at 6 or 5 am), though I would get this if it didnt need the computer on (I rarely keep my laptop on over night).

my guess itd be pretty easy to do with a regular schedular, just get it to execute an mp3 at a certain time…

  14. JoshuaMH1
    September 12th, 2007 | 02:36

    Ok..

Start > Control Panel > Scheduled Tasks

Drop a Mp3, notepad document, ect ect into the window

Right click on whatever you dropped in the window > properties

Go the the schedule tab, and set the options.

    And that’s it.

I’ve been using Citrus Alarm Clock ( http://www.ornj.net/citrus/ ) because it works, and uses up barely any process memory, don’t know about this program however, but maybe I’ll give it a go.

Oh yeah, used this one a fiew years back but forgot what it was called after reformating.
Its a good one. And yes, you can do most of the stuff this can via XPs build in schedule, but only most and this one has quite a range of features if I remember correct.

nearly completly unrelated: But check out Alpha Clock if you are looking for a much more convienient and customisable Tray-Clock (show date, day and time, cpu and ram usage etc. Just explore the options)

@anyone who wants to have their computer off at night.

lots of the new mainboards have a poweron timer in the bios now. Take a peek in the power management section to see if your’s is one.

If it has one, setting the day to 0 (zero) is everyday.

The crack might be bad, after using it quite a while the program has now started to prompt me for activation. I’m still running the cracked exe and obviously it’s not bypassing the copy protection. Sadly, my very long trial period is now over and it won’t work anymore.

I am a high school teacher and I use it to remind my students and me of important times such as the end of te first seven minutes where I take attendance and they do a warm-up activity, the last ten minutes where I wrap up the lesson and the last three minutes where we clean up to get ready for the next class! It works great to set good habits and eliminates my talking too much (as some teachers do…) !!
