Flash memory is cheap and crap, like the other dude said the life cycle of flash memory doesn't compare to that of the NAND SSD which is used in the E3. Also, it has a bigger screen and a faster processor and more ram and probably other upgrades internally that you wouldnt ordinarily notice. The price won't be much more than the current unit, but your trying to condem ASUS for charging more for a better unit? They would have no reason to rectify problems with the current E3 by making a new improved unit if they didn't charge more.
