Some short news – RELOADED also pre’d their Repack, it contains a crack, hooray!. Check the PROCYON post for more info or our original post for game description.

1. Unrar.
2. Burn the image.
3. Install the game.
4. Copy the cracked executable over from the Crack directory on the DVD to
your installation directory.
5. Play the game.
6. Have Fun :P

    OMG listen all

    There is No virus its just a lie so u start download the other one ( assassins creed repack reloaded 2#) so the others leech on the first one faster …
    there are 2 downloads now the first one is a ISO file and the other is RAR its the same just download the one u like!

    This release Works 99% (1% becouse i am not shure how it will work later on the game but im past jerusalem!!)

    Well as far as viruses .. I really don’t know..will check now that it is installed…I have a 2.8 GHZ machine,1M Ram..no dual core..runs most anything with some tweaking… and the last supposedly bad AC release worked fine….I didn’t try to get to Jerusalem because of all the comments..but it looks like either another reloaded bad crack or something because on this install I can’t even get it to start, it even screws my resolution up ..maybe Ubisoft upgraded their requirements since the last release, sibce Reloaded jumped the gun!!, it said this time I wasn’t compliant, that wasn’t the case on the prior Reloaded release..going to try installing the previous release with the new crack and see how that goes..this game should be playing for most people withou super machines..somebody has screwed with it..either reloaded or Ubisoft..no flames about reqs..I know what I know..by the way if you can’t be helpful to people on here..please STFU

    by the way..if anyone is having the same problem..might try overwriting the data files ..who knows..maybe the Jerusalem map had a bug..will check files sizes if the old version works with new crack..anything constructive would be appreciated..its takes a while to download this crap and I wish the so-called scene groups would get their act together..deviance or fairlight didn’t pull this crap

    Watch what torrent you’re downloading. I downloaded a torrent from TPB and it installed a bunch of self-restoring viruses. (My Spybot and NOD32 would keep deleting the viruses.. but 10 seconds later they would restore) They shut off my task-manager and Internet. Make sure you get the torrent with 70 files in it (or more)

    the virus discussions are endless and mostly useless..there are people trying to get the game to work here lol..I used AVG updated..ran on all installation files and also on system files, etc after installation… there are always sources out there in DLs but I tend to agree with Old Commie..also it automatically adds some crap in your windows firewall….who uses windows firewall..lol…why would you want MS to protect you???? delete it!!
    by the way..I reinstalled the 1st version of AC..the one with the presumably bad Jerusalem crash on my ancient PC and it’s running fine again..regardless of system specs … hmmm..will try swapping out old maps with new maps to see if that may resolve the crash issue…all maps sizes have changed as of this latest (good?) release…this game will work with a 2.8 Ghz single intel processer, 1M Ram, GeForce 7600 GS 256 vram, they may have decided in the last month they wanted you to upgrade..in addition the old version does not try to auto-spec your system,the developers have been tweaking this before release I suspect

    want to confirm that REPACK version works FINE !!
    ( graphics looks really better and game runs faster than in previosu versions )

    only problem that i have ( and not only me as i read the posts ) is with the SOUND !!! it’s seems to lag a bit and streach

    anybody knows how to fix it ?

    Further testing has demonstrated that the links posted in #77 on page 1 are virus free and work. True AVP does pop up right at the end with a warning that one of the installshield executables _is3.exe from memory is trying to inject itself into a process but I blocked that just in case, and everything worked fine no virus, or trojan on the scans and crack worked good no-cd.

    This business of a prog trying to hop into another process can be from a virus but often it isn’t most likely it was just trying to set up a game reg nag or update protocol or some equally annoy piece of lame code.

    Maybe it was the other rapidshare links on page 1 which were problematic but #77 is great because it still being in original rld form and nomenclature means any missing piece that may occur can be refilled from a myriad of different sources.

    Just to be sure: There ARE viruses in the installation cabs of the 2 files torrent.
    If anyone installed that version, just run Spybot in safe mode with the internetcable disconnected.

    Please do so; it just takes a total of 15 minutes (dl. spybot, installing, rebooting, F8, safe mode administrator, scan). Disconnect the internet/network cable in safe mode.

    Spybot WILL find a bunch of trojans, mainly ‘Virtumonde’ and another one. Spybot WILL not be able to delete everything at once, you need to reboot and run it again.

    *sigh*
    Above doesn’t take much time, and it doesn’t hurt to check, does it?!

    @inseed: No. The files in the beta version were corrupt. Also this release differs in other aspects as well. Most of the bugs are fixed and performance might have increased slightly, but I haven’t confirmed that yet.

    @Jerusalem: This release differs more than just the Jerusalem files. It also has a new quality mode and fixed the previous crashes, at least for me. No offence, but trying to mix the beta with the retail sounds like a very bad idea to me.

    I just downloaded the first repack from NewTorrents and when I mounted it with DT my antivirus went nuts and whined about 3 virus’. Should I just download the second repack? It seems to be smaller size.

    Alright..I downloaded the netload files from irfree and this is the md5 of rld-acrr.iso (not the rar coz i had already deleted that before i heard abt all the virus alerts): 3FC01D216A45C8675CB1D6BFC909E83D

    I checked the .iso for any viruses with norton 360 and it didnt find anything bad in it so im assuming i got the safe version.
    but if anyone could confirm that this md5 matches with the working version of the iso i would really appreciate it.

    Hi to All in Here.
    Somebody here know how to put a working Beta-Savegame in this new Version of the game?? I’ve tried but no sucess. This version gives a specific number for the name chosen in the profile on the SaveGame File. So the 3 Files on the Beta were: “xxx.map”, “xxx.opt” and “xxx.sav”; and the 3 new ones are: “123.hdr”, “123.opt”, and “123.sav”
    I’ve renamed the “.map” of B.V. in “.hdr” of R.V. but the game wont load.
    If someone could give some lights about this I would appreciate a lot.

    I just found out that the ‘virtumonde’ virus keeps returning. Even after running spybot and online scans (even in safe mode). Luckily I’m one of the few (I guess…) who makes backups every week!
    The ones who haven’t read my previous posts: 1th version (the 2 files one) posted a few days ago contains a bunch of viruses. You only find out when it’s to late (even with virusscanner running).
    The second one (6,38Gb) seems to be okay.

    Indeed a virus. Downloaded from netloader, scanned for viruses, all clean, installed. EXCEPT that each time before the game loads, a small grey window appears, seems official enough, saying that it’s downloading update. I thought it was the “phone home” procedure, until I clicked the advance button and saw it was downloading to C:\Documentsandsettings\”username”\TemporaryInternetFiles. scanned said folder, lo and behold: JS.downloader.Small trojan.
    I am anxiously waiting for confirmation from others, as I am talking about the so called “clean” release, not the .iso that is full of viruses.

    Just wanted to say thank you for the virus-warning in the first place everyone who reported it and especially you who studied the virus-stuff even more. Sneaky stuff. I luckily got the clean version (ALWAYS go with the original packed files), works perfectly and the game is MUCH better than I could have ever expected! Actually, if this had multiplayer (dunno if it would be fun or not but the option should always be there) and a few more tweaks (like quiting the game just a “little bit” faster) I might have had actually considered buying this damn game! run and type “dxdiag” ? from there go to the “sound tab” and put the “Hardware sound Acceleration Level” arrow one or two steps to the left. If that wasn’t your problem, then sorry can’t help you otherwise than maybe update your soundcard drivers or a new soundcard?

    from there go to the “sound tab” and put the “Hardware sound Acceleration Level” arrow one or two steps to the left. If that wasn’t your problem, then sorry can’t help you otherwise than maybe update your soundcard drivers or a new soundcard?

    1-The game is being released four months after the console versions. How did you use this extra development time ?

    Based on the feedback we got after the release of the console versions, we decided to add even more variety by developing a total of 4 new investigation types (Archer assassination, rooftop race challenge, merchant stand destruction challenge and escort challenge). The archer assassination requires the player to assassinate the archers in a dedicated zone without being seen. In the rooftop race challenge, the player will meet an informer and will have a set amount of time to reach a second informer. In the merchant stand destruction, some merchants have ties to the assassination target and their activities must be stopped by Altaïr. Finally, in the escort challenge, the player needs to securely escort a fellow Assassin from point A to point B.

    2-Will the game exploit DX 9 and DX10 ?

    The game comes with both DX9 and DX10 executables. If you own a DX10 card running on a Vista system, the game will use the full capabilities of the board to optimize the performances of the 3D graphics. You’ll be able to play the game at high resolutions with minimal impact on your framerate.

    3-In your opinion, what is the average machine needed to play the game ?

    Any dual-core machine running at 2.2GHz and over with a decent graphic card (such as a ATi HD2600 or a NVidia 8600) will give great performances.

    Our minimum requirement is a Pentium D 2.4GHz or a AMD X2 Athlon 3800+, equipped with a Shader Model 3.0 card (ATi X1300 and better, NVidia 6600 and better).

    4-AC has been perceived as a new milestone on consoles but pretty repetitive at times – did you try to tune this on the PC version ?

    As mentioned in the first question, we included 4 new investigation missions to increase the variety so in total, we now have a total of 9 investigation missions. Also, you can now skip from one city to another without going through the kingdom once you visited every city.

    5-How did you manage to adapt the gameplay to the PC and to the PC controls in particular ?

    Even though we support the Xbox 360 controller just like the console version, the user can choose to play with the keyboard and mouse for a more direct control over the camera and access to the menus. There are 4 default keyboard and mouse configurations that can all be customized to the player’s needs.

    6-It’s been said quite a few times that the AI on guards and on the crowd was not always as “ideal” as promised : have you managed to, improve this on the PC version ?

    We modified the reaction of guards in certain occasions. Blending when close to a dead body doesn’t work anymore; guards will spot you if you stay too close. Also, the reaction of the guards to stealth assassination is now based on the number of NPC around you making it more realistic. If there is no one around you, guards will spot you much faster and if the crowd is bigger, you won’t be spotted that fast.

    7-How are the X360 achievements translated to the PC version ?

    You can still collect flags and templars but there is no achievement in the PC version.

    8-What is the game due to be released ?

    The game will ship in the early days of April.

    @p34CH, I’m running the game at 1200×800. The game starts and its not full screen, I don’t know why. BTW after I installed the game it didn’t create a desktop shortcut, which file should I select to start the game. I tried different ones. Please help

    The game is letterboxed but if it’s opening in a window hit Alt-Enter and it’ll go to full-screen. Hope that’s what you mean.

    I think the same thing happened to me first time loading it – Just hit any windows hotkey I could think of (Alt-Tab, Alt-ESC, Alt-Enter)…..eventually that one worked :)

    Great game glad you got it full screen now.

    .iso version i ran into was filled with viruses, stay away from .iso version. Ended up going out and buying it. Good game. 1920×1080 rez however doesn’t support AA :( (1680 does)

    Downloaded it, and yes it works past Juruselem.
    Mint game! much better then Crysis which had alright gameplay but THE most overrated graphics ever (yes i played it on max settings, and it looks shocking for all the hype). Get about twice the fps on max settings then with crysis in DX10 mode, nice plot, nice gameplay. Dload now!
    Anyone know how to get a ps2/3 pad to work tho? mouse/keyboard can be a bit tricky….

    First of all guys.. this version WORKS ! Yes u can enter Jerusalem. No prob ! BUT BUT ! there is an irritating BUG when u ride around the KINGDOM region of the game. The game stutters and the sound gets f**ked up in there. In other words.. its almost unplayable in the KINGDOM. But the cities are fine. So I guess the guys at Reloaded mixed up things to get us to play the whole game.

    If u guys still want a hang of it then go ahead and download.. otherwise get the original one.

    @510 I have been playing the game for 4-5 hours and have passed the Jeruselum level and have not experienced any slowdowns or stuttering anywhere in the game. And my pc setup is quite modest (Pentium D and 3850HD) so maybe its just your pc?

    Oh and about the sound, try playing in quadrophonic if your pc allows, i found that when playing in 5.1 i get disstortion, but when using four speakers i do not (same with crysis).

    The ISO torrent is full of Viruses – this one has had good comments and is half the size, so if you did download 6gigs of scumware already you might give this one a go, won’t take as long.

    I am far from a newbie, and way over 30….
    Am a network admin, and have downloaded way to much to comment…
    I am sure that this torrent which I downloaded is full of spy ware. The second I mount a bunch of dll show up, I no longer have access to my task manager, have no rights ahahahah…
    We and a bunch of common signs of viruses….

    Ok, the game i’ve now been playing for close to ten hours must be a hallucination then. Like I said the original RS links worked and featured the whole game (virus free) with a working crack – the release is real. If you choose to dl every torrent posted, then yeh expect a virus.
