Support Vista x64bit? I will stick with Nero! BTW: For burning discs you only need to install Nero Burning Rom, not the hole suite!

I use convertxtoDVD and lately I get this error that says
write error at 0(16) code 05 30 05 Illegal request, cannot write medium. incompatible format. Please if anyone can help I am very new and cannot fix it, I would sure appreciate it if anyone could explain the issue. I have used it for a few months now and had no issues until now.Thank you in advance.

You all talk about convertxtodvd, That is what I use but now when it starts to write it comes up with an error message that says.
Write error at 0(16)
code 05 30 05
Illegal request, cannot write medium,
incompatible format
I am very new at this and would thank you all if you could give instructions on what to do or what to use or change.

I use Ashampoo and ConvertXtoDVD. You can’t really say one is better than the other. I’ve never used Ashampoo for encoding DVD’s, but it does so much more than that. I use it for everything other than encoding, because that’s what convertxtodvd does better than any other program IMO.

Which one I install first? These are the files I got in the Download….can someone give me step by step installing process….i am confused about the Registration and Key Gen….which one I load after the final installation of this program?

sorry guys, i just saw convertxtodvd and it burns itself..

dvdshrink uses one of the software you have to have installed on your pc

by the way this app is pretty fancy but it takes way too long to encode and burn!
4hrs in average fora 700 mb avi,! compare to the one im using right now taht can encode like 2 gig of avi in dvd format whit menus and all +burning it on dvd in like 30 mins.

For all those who love to mount their movie on dvd this is a great software and really fast nice compression …

LOL. All the windows users flock to bloated flashy-package ware. I can burn DVDs just fine using cdrecord on linux, which just happens to work with DVDs as well.

nero portable -> 23mb no installation and not a resource hog anymore .. and only the stuff you need (no smart start, cover designer and the rest of the stuff i never used)

i always delete the nero smart shortcuts and use on the Nero Burning ROM shortcut
