    @4 IMO it's better than the new nero, It's much faster and lighter memory wise. Nero has tooooo much applications on it making it very laggy and not to mention LARGE. Im satisfied with Ashampoo.

    I just installed this. It doesnt look that bad. Interface looks like it's aimed more to not so experienced users. I have had problem with nero 8, once I burn 8x 1 out of 5 dvdrs fails (verify doesnt pass) and Im interested to find out if its the nero that causes it or my drive (4x or 16x everything burns ok but 4x takes lot more time and 16x doesnt write well enough the disc to be readable in standalone dvd player).

    to those who complain about Nero bloat, you can do a custom install and only choose which apps you need/want. It is only bloated if you do the full install. Personally, i think it's better to offer too many programs than too few.

    Burned couple discs with ashampoo, both ok. Interface is just too damn annoying to click around. Nero works the best. Imgburn works the best if you just want to deal with imagefiles. Nero is still better for dvd buildup if you want to make dvd from files, with imgburn you need to make imagefirst.

    nero (8) > ashampoo/imgburn.

    I use Nero 9 But it do sucks i use to like but not no more now im lookin for a dif program i hope this one is good like every 1 says nero lags to much and i even bought the damn crap if this 1 is good and is worth i will even buy it i hope i could make titles and scenes and make my movies look good with this program i could do tha with nero but it lags to much wen im makin my movies tha sucks bad they need to redo nero big time!!! Hope this program works!!!
