This time a more recent movie from SEPTiC in HD: Arthur and the Invisibles (2006). I haven’t seen this one myself so I can’t really tell much about it. All I can say is that the reviews aren’t too good and the IMDB-public don’t really like it either: 5.6/10. Hate it or love it I guess…
Arthur is a spirited ten-year old whose parents are away looking for work, whose eccentric grandfather has been missing for several years, and who lives with his grandmother in a country house that, in two days, will be repossessed, torn down, and turned into a block of flats unless Arthur’s grandfather returns to sign some papers and pay off the family debt. Arthur discovers that the key to success lies in his own descent into the land of the Minimoys, creatures no larger than a tooth, whom his grandfather helped relocate to their garden; somewhere among them is hidden a pile of rubies, too. Can Arthur be of stout heart and save the day? Romance beckons as well, and a villain lurks.

Question you have to ask, is this still the FUC|{ed American version where they don’t get married and cut about 12 other scenes out of the movie? If so, then it’s probably not even close to being worth considering thinking about possibly downloading. The 15-20 or so minutes that got removed from the film make the story line confusing and obtuse even for adults who don’t know that scenes have been removed in the first place.
What’s happened to Luc Besson? He used to make quality films, but with the begining of his Taxi era (even if he did not directed it on paper) what he’s doing is pure crap.
Actually this is a pretty good film. I really suggest watching a subbed version of the original release, before it got “Americanized”.
@3 the Euro un-cut version is called “Arthur and the Minimoys” and its like 20 min longer then the American cut called ” Arthur And The Invisibles”

Taxi was still entertaining even though he was just producer. But Jean D’Arc was utterly bad and Angel-A was stylish but nothing like his previous works. He once said he will only direct 10 movies in his life, that makes this Arthur trilogy (according to IMDb he will make two more) his last works. Too bad because he really was one of my favorite directors.
as someone said before is this the uncut version ?? i downloaded Axxo DvD release yesterday and it didn’t have all scenes that the TC -mvs release had they had cut the need more rope part and when they kiss was a bit anoying knowing whats gonna hapen and then it doesn’t…
