The activity of a controversary scene group VoMiT is decreasing lately, but here’s a new “B” flick from them. The name Army of The Dead immediatelly evolves a cheap horror movie, and after further look into movie details, I can just confirm this theory. The estimated budget of this movie move around $1 million, which allowed producers to create the official poster and hire semi-decent actors at least. Standard 1 CD release.

In 1590 Coronado dispatched a division of one thousand men to find Eldorado, the legendary city of gold; they were never seen again…until now. A weekend excursion for a university professor and his group turns into a battle for life and death with an army of skeletal warriors.

    I see they’ve started to learn Photoshop and After Effects judging the site and trailer :D Where the actors actually look pretty ok… the effects are crap. They even make blood and guts out of fisherprice claydo. ( 8^(l)

    VoMiT is great. So what if they bring out mostly B-movies? There are plenty of people who like those, and you can always choose NOT to download them. And once in a while they bring out a gem that every other scene group left hanging (like the excellent Persepolis, for instance). And another thing, they almost never need PROPERS.

    Martin, if you hate them so much, why not let other RLSlog staff members blog them?

    downloaded this film, and it was great.

    Camera angles and the way it was shot seemed a bit cheap, but it was.

    but the plot line is predictable, but it is percieved in a very exciting and interesting way.

    I highly advise that you watch this movie, its not just ‘another’ B movie, its one of a kind.

    Not really, there’s a constant stream of vomit releases on usenet. Vomit releases a lot of truly bad movies, but there’s many a jewel among them. Releaselog almost always slams vomit. I don’t understand releaselog’s dislike of this group. Care to explain?

    It’s a ‘B’ movie. But then, Army of Darkness was as well. These movies are meant to be fun, and this one looks like it is. I skimmed through the movie and the special effects look pretty decent for the budget.

    This is a good Friday night pizza/beer flick. But I can tell my girlfriend ain’t gonna like it :)

    i dont have an opinion yet but i’m going to see it, cause it seems like it’s bringing the spirit of EVIL DEAD sequence back and that one was one hell of a sequence perhaps the only one that the next movie could be better then the previous one…. BRUCE CAMPBELL AND SAM RAIMY FOR EVER… proit to see another stupid but unexpecting comedy from this two BUBBA-HOTEP
