Aquaman: New superhero TV show
I’ve noticed a new name on the field of tv shows this morning, while duing rutine work at NewTorrents.info. There was a new screener of tv show called Aquaman, totally unknown for me. And it gained my attention – during this holiday break, there aren’t many tv torrents with over 2000 peers at all. That’s quite common for new episodes of Lost, Prison Break or some others, but they are all on the summer break at the moment.
After a small research about this title, I realized it’s a new remake of pretty old comic superhero, which appeared first in 1941. It was a very popular DC comics, so some director just though about making this hero real once again, and made this tv show. It’s known as “Mercy Reef” too, listed under this name at IMDB, but the official name will remain Aquaman probably. There’s a pilot episode as I wrote, which introduces you little into the situation. After watching it, I can say it doesn’t reach the quality of LOST or some other top tv shows, but this idea is just quite cool and it could be a nice addition to regular tv shows list. I also got an idea to build some new website about Aquaman, but I quickly realized someone was a little faster, so I’ll have to wait for some better opportunity.
Aquaman features the main water-guy acted by Justin Hartley, a blond young guy, which will probably become a teen idol very soon. You could see also some other hot chicks in there, randomly transforming into something not so nice – but this reamins up to you, I will not tell you the story here. The quality of this screener isn’t 100%, but it’s really good if you consider the official launch datem which is set to 1st September, so you get this with over one month in advance. Ha, how funny! Aquaman is also part of the hitseries Entourage. In Entourage a series about an idol/teen actor (Vince) and his 3 friends, Vince in the whole of season 2 tries to get the main part for the movie… Aquaman. Coincidence?
I thought this was just a pilot that got cancelled?
Aquaman made an appearance in Smallville (the episode had the most viewers of that season), and that apparently motivated the WB to make a pilot of a tv show for the character, thats supposed to be similar to Smallville (the creators of Smallville wrote the pilot). If I remember correctly this show DID get cancelled as part of the merger that formed the new channel CW that replaces WB and UPN.
there was a episode in smallville my fav prog where aquaman appearded, basically hes a hero saving the endagenored species of the sea and fighting against pollution lool should turout to b a garbage man LOOOL well i think it will suck and smallville will continue to RULEEE
yup cancelled, this will be the only ever episode & after the crap response this got they had already decided to reshoot with pretty much an entire new cast anyway before it was cancelled completely. One to watch for nostalgia only as nothing will ever come of it inn this guise

Actually, about a month ago, they decided that they would possibly pick this back up in the spring. So it isn’t completely out, just more than likely. So this may or may not be the only episode.

You guyz suck… That was a pretty good pilot for what it was… Loads better than all the freaking reality shows on tv or the nigger rap music that you can’t seem to get away from..

I don’t like reality shows, but I don’t like anyone that hates anyone simply because of there religion, color or prefrence of whatever etc. Judge not, lest you be judged.
I’m not a fan of rap either, but that doesn’t mean I’m going to use abusive ignorant comments to put across my point.
