Excellant, been waiting on this for a very long time. I would reccomend watching a episode or two on You Tube first before downloading the movie guys.
Shake is my hero and I feel for Carl,I used to watch on Winamps shoutcast TV and loved it so I got the dvd’s.

Why when I burned this(great quality) does it have have a black square around it like it’s in a box? I wanted wide screen and it did that? Is there a way to force it to play in wide screen? I’m using VSO to convert, I thought this happened when vids were capped from tv…whats the issue here?

the aspect ratio of this release is 1.55:1
the aspect ratio of the movie should be 1.85:1
this means that there is missing picture on the right and left sides of the frame. other than that the quality it just fine.
strange though. if this is a dvdrip, which it seems to be based on image quality, why isn’t it in the proper ratio?

if i had to guess i’d say you have your burning software configured to set aspect ratio automatically. since this release has the odd aspect ratio of 1.55:1, your disc was probably burned in 4:3 which would show up on your widescreen television with a black box around it. to fix this, use the zoom feature on your television or burn a new disc making sure the aspect ratio is 16:9.
for the future, you should make sure your burning software is set to 16:9 always and not trust it to automatic detection.
i really enjoy the tv show. never miss an episode. the movie was not quite what i expected, although it pretty much stuck to the theme of the tv show. maybe it means that ATHF is only funny in 15 minute doses?…
anyhow, the rip was very good quality, both visually and audio.
