No phone can come close to the features the iphone has to offer. However, this is mostly due to the fact of third party hacks and apps. If it wasn’t for being able to jail break it, apples phone would be just another over priced apple product.

Why is the Iphone so popular? Yes it looks nice and works ok but isnt it lacking in some features to be called a “Smartphone” as all it does is look smart.

i got rid of my iphone and went back to my £35 sagem, easier to use, more features and didnt feel like i was about to be mugged every time i got it out

I have nothing against iphone (although I doubt I would ever find the need for one)

but you obviously work for Apple or seriously need to get out more, and not write books on here about a silly mobile phone.

My iphone is best phone i’ve ever had, winning from my old nokia’s 3210,3310,6600,5300 Xpressmusic.

I work in an electronica retail shop en i’ve tested ever foon the last year, nothing beats an iPhone. The so-called tube (nokia 5800) will be a great disappointment for Nokia lovers like me. First of all the OS (symbian) is really to old to match grafics like an iPhone, but the worst is the screen. Nokia didnt use an electronic touchpad like iPhone or Omnia but a two layer touchscreen. The biggest downside is dat such a screen isn’t precise.

I always use Nokia’s it were by far the best foons, only Sony’s can compete (samsungs all suck because of the crappy OS, okay they look great). I never wanted an iPod/iPhone because i hated iTunes. I still don’t like it, but it works and iPhone works even beter. I have an jailbroken 2.1 one, i can download all the appstore games and apps for free trough bittorrentsites but also direct on the iPhone using appshare and installous. If jailbreaking wasn’t possible it still would be a great foon, but now it’s a PSP, videocamera, voicerecorder, ect too. And it’s strong like hell, i already dropped it 5 times without have a skin around it. Besides a couple scratches (no on the screen) it’s like new.

Just because a lot of websites and tv programs discuss the bad points of an iPhone (no copy/paste, no flash, no bluetooth streaming or sharing only handsfree calling) people think it’s a bad telefoon. I checked our sales system, we sold 56 iPhone and only one costumer came back after a week with a broken one. After analyse by Apple it was repair for 150 dollars, it had waterdamage which the costumer already knew.

The only foon which can compete with an iPhone is the new HTC G1 runner Google’s new android OS. This foon will be availible in Januari. The few leaked videos show a rather big foon with a slide display which reveals a keyboard. The OS will run smooth and is more open than Apple one, but still it’s f**king ugly.

So come on, bash this post, i still love my iPhone.
