Something new for OSX owners and those who are into video / movie production. Newest version of this well known software for video production purposes. Release consist of 7 DVDs, and I’ll upload em soon as possible (if anyone interested).

If you are trying to download this with jDownloader 0.6.193, unfortunately it will show links as offline/deleted although they are online.     I believe you just need DVD1 (Installation disc) if you want application only. Here's list of whole package:

    If You Have Audio Content 1 2 3 either from logic 8 u might be able to mount those also n install might pick it up…. No you dont have to burn them to a dvd to install just mount….installer is right even mounts on 86macers with 10.5.7

    Download yourself BetterZip from:

    After you install it, open with it first RAR part which is "AFC3D1.part01.rar". After that you'll see folder inside of it, extract whole folder somewhere on your HDD. Browse inside that folder and again open with BetterZip file named "fcstudio3.rar" and extract its content. After that you'll need to install Final Cut Studio and you're good to go.

    FYI; As stated by others already, DVD1 (Install Disc) Contains ALL applications in the Final Cut Studio package (Doesn't Include Logic, that is part of its own studio pack)

    All remaining discs are 'Content' discs and contain extra material that can be install AFTER and separately to each other.
    If you want audio loops for soundtrack, install audio loops.
    If you want livetype effects, install livetype effects etc…
    (These can be install on any connected Volume (not just Start-up Volume)
    The applications will not complain they are missing files, you set the location in prefs.

    In most cases you may not even need the extra content if you just need to edit In FCP, Soundtrack etc.

    And although there is NEW effects/sounds etc, the content discs from previous final cut studio packs DO work with the new applications.

    Correct,

    Final Cut does not benefit from any content discs. Everything is on the install disc.

    Content discs are for;
    DVD Studio Pro Content (menu's, transitions, buttons etc)
    Motion Content (Effects, Livetype)
    Audio Content (Music loops, sound effects for Soundtrack)

    Hey guys, people are having issues with the installation DVD, so I'm here to help! Follow my instruction and you'll have a perfect install:

    People are getting two error messages when attempting to install. To avoid these two error messages 1.) uninstall all previous Final Cut Studio 2 applications from your Applications folder (you don;t need to go crazy with all the hidden and tucked away stuff, just what's in the Applications folder) and 2.) you need to install each application separately, as well as the media:

    This means that you should install Final Cut Pro, then Motion, etc. After all the applications are installed, begin installing each media disc separately.

    BTW, these steps are necessary, so just listen to my instructions and save yourself the agita.

    EDIT: for whatever reason attempting to install the Soundtrack Impulse Response files still gives me and error, so when I find a fix I'll post it here.

    EDIT: I haven't tried installing the media discs yet, but there seems to be some issues with them. The consensus is to uninstall all of your previously installed media from Final Cut Studio 2 (motion templates, dvd studio templates, soundtracks music files, etc.) and it should work.

    hi Craiger ,i didnt remove the final cut studio 2..
    i installed fcs 3 from the 1st disc only and unchecked the extra contents of motion.. dvd studio..etc

    pasted the serial number.. installed..(it replaced all the old files automatically i guess)
    and i was good to go

    ADVICE, Do not download. I downloaded all content DVD's. NONE is working. You are getting a install error shortly before installation is finshed. Check Demonoid.com forum, they allready discussion it. All DVDs are broken. Only the first *.toast with the binaries is working. Content is fubar.

    yes, DVD1 (install) worked for me. deselect all content during install and all is good. The Content DVD's are not broken, the installer is. So if you are fit with pacfist you could extract the content form the dvds but its a pain in the ass.

    Installer works if you turn off all optional stuff during installation. Don't just turn off DVD Content Pro, you need to expand the folders to get to turn off everything.

    Unfortunately, as it stands, all of the discs are corrupt. SurroundImpulseResponses.pkg, DVD Studio Pro Content, Motion Content 2, and Audio Content 3 have problems.

    no luck so far, tried the few mentioned above
    1) did dmg conversion using Disk Utility. didn't work.
    2) Pacifist also prompted errors, when i tried to force install packages.

    i was only trying with the 2nd disc, DVD SP Content.

    seems like there isn't much response; and on a lucky note, it's seems like it's just the content DVDs that have the error problem
    for now, i used Pacifist software to install the packages instead.

    Open Pacifist.
    Opne Packege FCP Installer.
    Contens Packeges Insall.

    But few file was broken include SurroundImpulse.

    This Studio 3 sucks! Can't install contents, surround impulse is broken and compressor is slow as hell when exporting. Share function gives errors most of the times…..

    Useless Share :(

    Yes You can install the Apps from DISC1
    But you definitly need Content Disks which are messed up
    Be Happy the first DISC is ALL Right
    Motion can not work properly without the Library provided
    in Motion Content 1.
    These files have been ripped with wrong Checksum.
    inside the ISO and TOAST the Archive.gz are broken.
    This makes the Apps not fully funktional.
    but nice time for huge trial…

    I have 6 copies of this program, I don't want to use the disks i'd rather install from iso's over network (So I don't have to move ;) )

    when I create the iso's the first one is fine but several of the other disks get corrupted, is ok on PC, have checked all files are in place, but when I try to mount on MAC it screws up and says the iso is corrupt or unsupported..

    PLEEEEASE make my life easy and tell me how to make iso or dmg from the other disks.

    PS. I find it hilarious that I hear of the update on this site rather than at apple or creative cow or similar…

    PPS. Apple suck, they make kid toy products and software, you can claim your money back on any Apple product with the word 'Pro' on it because this is a sales description failure.

    Hi, thx for the files and the sn. I´ve managed to install sucessfully all 7 dvd´s in a fresh install, and patching all 7 disks, with the released fix for the correct md5. It was a long and tedious process but at the end everything works fine.

    DigitaLife you have to convert the iso or dmg to cdr using the disk utility, open the dmg go to disk utility create a new image from the disk and it will become named as the original dmg but with the cdr exstension. Important lock the dmg image before opening. After some minutes you will have a fresh cdr image, then apply the fix and that it´s all.

    Hi Angelx, thx a lot for your help, but still the installation failed.
    I have followed your instructions carefully:
    1) Lock the ISO file (command+I, and then check “Locked”)
    2) Open ISO file.
    3) Open Disk Utility
    4) Selected the volume (i.e.: Motion Content 1, or other).
    5) Create “New Image”.
    6) Choice “master DVD/CD” from the menu “Format image”.
    7) Start!
    The new image files CDR were create succesfully, but when i try to install, doesn’t work and the installation failed!
    I try also to convert directly, from ISO to CDR, the image file, with Disk Utility, but I had the same result.
    I try to convert Motion Content 1 e 2 and Audio Content 1, 2 e 3.
    Please ANGELX, let me know how can make to resolve this problem!

    Digital life, dont forget after doing all the steps you´ve done, to apply the fix patch, in my case the md5 didnt match but luckly all the discs worked, Double00, i dont remember where do i downloaded the the fix, it was a megaupload link but I got the information from a German or polish webpage, and then I found the fix in some kind of chinese board… the only thing i remember is that the adress was something with mymac or imac or myeasymac or something like that.

    Good luck!

    P.D. the tool that applied the fix was grumpy, gumpy, gimpy or any tool that have that similar name.

    When installing go to customise and just uncheck all the content you can then install content after. I think people are getting errors because by default everything is checked to install and the dvd doesn’t have all that content.

    I have installed a new pro update from apple update and now the licensing is not working the key that i was using E-331-NYD-027-RLJ-324-OQP-415-WUI-MQX-X36X is not working anymore after updating ….

    so does anyone have a new key?

    HOW TO INSTALL FINAL CUT 7 only.

    1.Update your MAC
    2.Click Install Final Cut Studio
    3.ENTER SERIAL E-331-NYD-027-RLJ-324-OQP-415-WUI-MQX-X36X
    4.From the Custom Install menu deselect the other apps except Final Cut Pro
    5.Click Continue

    Next time you update your MAC
    Click SHOW DETAILS and deselect PRO APPLICATIONS UPDATE

    If you update FINAL CUT your SERIAL will be Deactivated
