A little decent release finally comes to the internet. The final dvdrip of Apocalypto was released by group DEiTY just a few moments ago, made from retail R1 DVD. I’m pretty sure all of you have already heard about this popular movie filmed by Mel Gibson which was also nominated for 3 Oscars. The lenght of Apocalypto is enormous, almost 3 hours, so there’s no wonder this dvdrip appears on 2 CDs. This allowed guys from DEiTY to include the 6 channel AC3 audio, so the quality is really good. If you missed the dvd screener 3 months ago, this is a must have for you. I’ll also warn you – most of the film isn’t in English for authenticity of the story, but English subs are included, so you have nothing to worry about.

    @dumbass Jet Li’s Fearless was not set in England or the USA but it still came out with english audio on the dvd, english does not have to be the main language on the dvd but if i’am gonna spend my money, i’ll like to get my monies worth….. so what was your point again mr. dumbass ………

    @ckk what the f. can’t you read a few lines in English(it) or what? Part of the magic in this movie is the Maya language. But no all you need is English audio cause you cant do more than two thing at the time except watching the movie and eating popcorn. Reading is too much

    Seriously, whats the point of this movie? And what has it to do with mayans, really? The first half is exactly like the violent italian mondo-crap from the 70/80s and the second is prehistoric rambo. The only difference is a better camera, some rotten language and higher budget. No, wait, two priests grinning numerous times like retards, because they‘re predicted the eclipse and wanted to make sure, the dumbass audience gets it. Yeah, mayans were mathematicians. get it! geeet ittt!! Mondo Apolcalypto – banned in the 80s, today it‘s called “art”. Stop making movies, Mel. Please.

    I cant believe there arnt more people that like this movie. I thought this was one of the best movies I have seen all year. I just lost myself in the story and for 2 hrs 20 min believed it was true history I was watching. not a movie. I guess because I have 2 kids and a loving wife the story held more emotions for my wife and my self. we thoroughly enjoyed this movie and have seen it around 10 times now. I urge people to watch this movie and ignore some of the previous comments, I have told all my friends and family to watch it too (I don’t recommend movies very often so thats saying something :P ). you cant judge a movie until you have seen it your self. I think Mel Gibson is amazing and cant wait for his next movie. Apocalypto is a MUST SEE!!!

    This movie was great, hence the high rating. Using English audio would only diminish the realism and authenticity of the movie. (Mel Gibson specifically wanted the movie this way) If you don’t understand this movie and wanted English audio, then there is probably no way you would understand it anyway. Some of the best movies are subbed. (Asian)

    I agree with ZV. I think some of the best movies I have seen have been in original language. it sucks when I D/L a movie with some stupid Americans dubbing over the top. I hate watching the lips not movie in sync.

    this movie completely sucks. the language spoken is not mayan, that is a big lie, but who would know? only in mexico and some other people interested in the true mayan culture. this movie is full of lies, the mayan culture is very badly represented. after all is based on a book by a spanish invader, from the time of conquest. yeah, this is a way of justifying that they massacrated an entire culture, coming from another continent with all they violence. ok i don’t want to go on ranting. this movie is simply crap.

    Tooooo much violence and pointless story, totally sucks.

    I don’t know what was the point of making this movie. Besides it downgrades maya a bit too much and portrays the attackers as savers……nothing entertaining about it.
