DoNE have just released the DVDRip of the LiMiTED movie “Antichrist”. This horror film, written and directed by Lars von Trier, is about a couple who, after the death of their child, retreat to a cabin in the woods where they encounter strange and terrifying occurrences. The film stars only two actors, Charlotte Gainsbourg and Willem Dafoe. WOW, I’m gonna give it a go only based on this :) It’s 2-CD release, check it out!

PLOT: A couple lose their young son when he falls out the window while they have sex in the other room. The mother’s grief consigns her to hospital, but her therapist husband brings her home intent on treating her depression himself. To confront her fears they go to stay at their remote cabin in the woods, “Eden”, where something untold happened the previous summer. Told in four chapters with a prologue and epilogue, the film details acts of lustful cruelty as the man and woman unfold the darker side of nature outside and within.

    Very disturbing movie. I'm not sure if it's a masterpiece or one of the worst things ever made. In one scene Willem Dafoe is given "the hand release" as Borat might say, after having his penis bashed in with a hammer, and then he ejaculates blood…and the camera shows all of it. That silly Lars von Trier.

    Good quality picture and sound.

    Movie is extremely boring, graphic in parts, starts to pick up 30mins to go. Fast forward thru rest

    Crap movie, hard to follow with such poor direction and awful acting, but there is a full penetration scene at the beginning showing the man's penis entering the ladies bat cave, and towards the end she cuts her clitoris off with a pair of scissors, apart from that anyone who thinks this movie is a masterpiece has no intelligence .

    You found it hard to follow and yet say that anyone who thinks it is a masterpiece has no intelligence? Maybe if you actually understood it, you might think it was a masterpiece too.

    Not that I think it is a masterpiece myself, but at least I understood it. I guarantee the symbolism went over the heads of most of the people here that are cussing it.

    Also, the acting is impeccable.

    The 104m version and the 109m version are exactly the same, just running at a slightly different speed. There are no cuts.

    It's 109m at the cinema (24fps) and 104m on PAL video (25fps).

    People always make that mistake.

    I thought this was an excellent and beautifully shot film. It's slow and not for everyone as it has some really nasty moments, but if you like challenging, well made cinema you will enjoy it.

    If you don't, then don't bother – Nobody is forcing you to watch anything ;)
