Another new site: Rapidshare King
This free weekend gave me the opportunity to finish last work on the new website. Rapidshare file sharing is a terrible idea; the site only allows a certain amount of downloading per IP per day. If you download a file of say x MB, then your IP is banned from downloading any others for a certain period of time. Also, they frequently remove illegal content on request, so all it takes is one complaint to screw up everyone’s downloads. Stick with torrents.
Dan: yeah that’s right, but if you have some TV show for example in 2 100MB parts, then it may be faster to download it from rapidshare even with this waiting period. and of course, you can also buy or get somewhere the rapidshare account. but i know what you mean.
Mike: again, i setup the site and design, but i do not create the content, there are other people who will post updates there. rlslog and newtorrents take enough time
Martin; You can find good tv torrents on eztvefnet.org with lots of seeds and it takes a lot less time to dl from torrents there than from rs
Personally, I think this is a great idea. I prefer torrents, but this is just another option for people who don’t like using torrents or find the speed they get off them being poor, regardless of how many seeds.

but i have an question: there are some ways (tools?) to hide the ip/downloadlimit.
can someone plz say how to do it and what tool shouldt some1 use if he want try it?

Not everyone has a crappy DSL connection. Like me and million others who have cable interwebs, I can’t change my ip using that method, I have to wait for my isp to release and renew it. The lease time for the IP is set by the ISP so the normal methods (ipconfig /release /renew) don’t work because the ip change is made on the ISP’s side.
I get my porn from private BT trackers and it’s fast and convenient enough for me.

great idea! i have a rapidshare premium i hardly even use anymore. this will add to my daily usenet download to around 15gigs a day..lol.
i paid for my rapid share account and download 3 or 4 films at a time, takes about 20 minutes per film, a lot faster than torrents

you do not even have to actively watch downloads…just add them and let them go.

do not visit that site eztvefnet.org, tries to download crap, my system blocked them but what a joke people have to forward bad sites.
