		<description>Thanks for the tip.  i was really baffled but found the vobsub program easy to use and for many other issues i&#039;ve been having with subtitles as well.</description>

		<description>Normally if u installed a codec pack you should have vobsub installed (look for it in start&gt;programs), if not you can download it for free online, search google for vobsub (2.23 is the release i think).

Afterwards you find in the vobsub folder in the start menu a program called subresync, there you open the subs from the subpack, select a stream/language you wanna convert to srt, click save as and choose srt in the dropdown box. You will find it works a lot better than Subrip.

Hint: If you have something like a question mark (?) for example, and it only draws a red border around the top of the figure, and not the dot for example, click on &quot;extend&quot; and the red border will expand.
