One more TV release before I put myself in the bed: America’s Most Smartest Model is yet another clone of this franchise, which replaced populat The Pickup Artist. We had all those America’s next top model contests, but that’s something which doesn’t really coresponds with intelligence so someone at VH1 decided to try a slightly different format – 8 women and 8 men compete against each in the search for clever and also a good looking persona!
Beauty is a double-edged sword. It seems to be a commonly accepted notion in the world today that an inverse proportion between brains and beauty exists. Basically the prettier someone is, the less intelligent they are expected to be. And no one has it worse than models. True or not, we all assume that models are stupid. In fact, we want them to be stupid. We need them to be stupid because life would be too unfair if the beautiful people were smarter than us. But is this assumption really true? Do smart models exist, or does a life devoted to getting by on one’s looks make a person stupid? How VH1 will attempt to answer this burning question by casting a wide net in search of “America’s Most Smartest Model”.

It isn’t an oxymoron, it is just grammatically incorrect.
An oxymoron is a paradox reduced to two words, the most famous example of which is probably Little Big Horn. I’m sure there is a word to describe a grammatical error such as “most smartest”, but… I’m not smart enough to tell you what it is.

It’s grammatically incorrect, yes, sounds terrible and is redundant.
Hell, the level of english in the USA is becoming deplorable by the second. Terms such as “bestest” are now commonplace, as is “interestinger” (which I’ve heard on CNN on more than one occasion) as opposed to the correct “more interesting”.

I’m not sure where I would put this comment, but why did rlslog not talk about the boxing match this weekend? It was released and no one mentioned a word. I wish you guys would get a sports release commentator or something to that fact that talk about the football, ufc, mma, boxing etc etc.
