American Violet DVDSCR XVID – STG

STG with the first copy of this film that is available and he brings us a nice looking a DVD Screener of it, the movie is called “American Violet” directed by Tim Disney, the grand nephew of Walt Disney. The story is based on the true story of Regina Kelly, a victim of Texas police drug enforcement tactics. Quality is overall very good, with the occasional black and white screens and yellow text across the screen for a short period (See screenshot #2).

Based on the true story of Dee Roberts, a 24 year-old African American single mother of four living in a small Texas town when she is dragged away from work one day in handcuffs, and then dumped in the womens county prison. The local district attorney leads an extensive drug bust, sweeping her housing project with military precision. Dee soon discovers that she has been charged as a drug dealer. Even though she has no prior drug record and no drugs were found on her in the raid, she is offered a hellish choice: plead guilty and go home as a convicted felon or remain in prison, jeopardizing her custody and risking a long prison sentence. She chooses to fight the unyielding criminal justice system, risking everything in a battle that forever changes her life and the Texas justice system.

    I know nobody can ever be certain but are there any awards etc. coming up that might lead to a few more DVDSCR's being released over the coming weeks? I can't remember the last time a film I wanted came out as DVDSCR and there are so many I'd like to see at the moment that I hoped a few might get better quality releases than CAMs and TSes.

    Not complaining or anything, just wondering if we can expect many DVDSCRs anytime soon?

    torrents are not like rapidshare ect.. where you have to pay to download files.
    And if you dont/cant pay…. your speed and connections are very limited.( rapidshare is a joke )

    Hotfile isn't too bad because you can download multiple files at the same time. speed is limited to 130kbps per file at certain times of the day.
