jdizzle1337 you should make sure you know what your talking about lest you sound like the ignorant sausage lover you probably are…I live in L.A. and went to 4 tapings in December as was in the crowd for both teams so I can tell you that they aren’t plants…less smoking and log choking…and more studying tv / film before you talk…

I used to like AG when i was young, but i watched this one and it was painful to watch (it looks so fake). Has anyone seen NINJA WARRIOR on G3? I’d love to see an American (English)version of that.

I gave this a chance… vaguely remembering my childhood. I hated it then. I love it now! I just wish they wouldn’t talk to the contestants. They have nothing interesting to say. I wanna be on CG! (im sure here in canada there will be a hilarious ripoff where the hosts will be a bear and a beaver and the events will include avoiding squirrles throwing pine cones at you! Way better!)

I’d rather see the original AG but I’ll try to check this out.

And it sucks they got rid of the GaS(Games and Sports) network, no more Legends, Double Dare, Nick Arcade, or GUTS.

You can tell how young Mr.x is by his comments lol AG in the 90’s was almost as cool as Bevis and butthead was, god the memories woohoo!! Love this show.

“TheFilmBuff” plz stfu, everyone knows that GUTS sacked bawlz. Who wants to watch rich white kids on vacation in Orlando beat the crap out of each other with harmless crap like whipped cream, water, and slime while wearing goggles and helmets? If you were a real man you would have been beating off to the hot chicks on “Hey Dude” when you were 8 or 9.

Anyway i must embarrassingly admit that i got suckered into watching this when it first aired, it aired after the NFL playoff game on Sunday (the networks are real sneaky like that). This show is a magnificent pile of fetid, leprous, rotting pig innards on a 90 degree day.

This show is fake, watch it and tell me i am lying. The red team members are studio plants. The blue team members are regular joe blows, and they get soundly creamed for their troubles. As a matter of fact the woman on the blue team doesnt even make it through the first event without getting injured and having to leave (they replace her with another studio plant, but this one is hot and has big t1ts).

Seriously it is almost sick if you watch it, the red team are complete studio plants and you can tell that the gladiators dont even really try hard against them but they really tee off on the blue team members which you can tell are just regular people. The final event on the women side is a complete and utter joke, where the red team woman (who just happens to be black) totally dominates the blue team woman and gets a huge lead on her through the course but interestingly loses all of her power and flails about helplessly for about 2 minutes on the final obstacle while the blue woman catches and passes her. I was so dumbfounded at the terribadiness of this show that i could not decide whether to laugh or cry, suffice to say i shut it off after the first hour.

Honestly just facking terribad, the 2nd generation of American Gladiators is 10,000 times better than this rotting pile of garbage, mainly because it WASNT FAKE.

@6 and 7 your excused for assuming I am an awful person for wanting to remember the shows i grew up with. I was actually 8 or 9 when GUTS was out so… I only mentioned it because the shows nickelodeon has now are lame. I wish there were torrents of some of these classic shows like double dare and GUTS.
