Amazon Unbox has actually been out for a while now, but they only downloaded to Tivo owners. I think the change is that they opened it up to other format types now.

Looks like there are lots of low cost ways these days to watch movies legally.

I don’t generally mind streaming as long as they have a large enough buffer to make network congestion not an issue. But I have to say I have not been impressed with any of the Flash streaming stuff since the overhead for decent quality flash stuff means you need a fairly high-end system to play it back without any sync issues. The Divx streaming seems ok where I have seen it. Too bad no one has ever made an Xvid streaming plug-in.

What would really rock would be an X-264 streaming plug-in. I know that Adobe released a flash H-264 player, but it would be nice to see X264 come out with something.

No thanks LOL. Ill stick with Usenet, Fios, And my $5 DVI to HDMI cable and stream HD or Divx content right to my HDTV.

talking about movies im at the wellington international film festival at the moment seeing 5 movies from it.just saw a complete history of my sexual failures so funny.

Ya Sony just released it’s own service for the Ps3. $3.99 for a 14 day rental or $14.99 to buy the movie. Looks like they are about 2GB. Ahhh no thanks…I think I’ll stick with my Netflixs 4 now.
