Im sure many of you have come across movies files that you wanted to convert to a different file type before, atleast i know i have :D Im still to find one that can do it 100% without losing any quality at all, this one claims it can but i havent tried it yet. (If anyone knows one similar that can and they have tested feel free to let us know in comment :) )

    Does anyone know the fastest and overall best iPhone video converter. I've tried some, but they are all super-slow, with the same quality, so i just need something thats really fast.

    Please avoid uploading.com and uploaded.to. Both gives crappy service and DL drops suddenly. I'm on broadband and have no prob with other sites with similar feature.

    And I hate to DL from a link in the comments which can very rarely be trusted.

    :(

    you all should check out handbrake, its a windows and osx video converter that is the fastest converter ive used over the past 4 years. plus its free/open source

    Strange, the web site has a link for FLV to AVI/etc, but when you click on it, you get this suite, which only lists converting from FLV to a couple formats.

    Go to the web site and download your free "trail" today! :)

    MKV isn't a codec, it's a container. A MKV usually contains an h.264-encoded file, so yes, it should take it.

    For those claiming it's x264 and not h.264: x264 is an open source h.264 encoder. Freely downloadable at http://x264.nl/

    winavi is my favorite, there are some bugs but it is a lot better than all of these repackaged garbage "suites"

    handbrake works really good for high quality and its free use it to max out the resolution on my storm

    It uses the Nvidia GPU which makes the conversion upto 10x faster and keeps the cpu at 30% instead of 90%+
    Compared to handbrake (which is technically better) I converted 'The Obama Decpetion" in 13 minutes whereas Handbrake took 48 minutes.
    Also has the best gui. Very easy to use and very fast and stable. Look for a cracked version.

    win avi is great for everything only thing sucks its slow and only single thread cpus, I want something for dual or quad, hoping they'll make use of h264,mp4 codecs.

    Xilisoft Video Converter Ultimate is really nice expect is sucks for subs only, works great for quad cpus.
