Alpha Prime-ViTALiTY
ViTALiTY are in my opinion the Number 1 defacto games group at the moment, almost always beating there rivals to new releases and just a few moments ago they pre’d another one, Alpha Prime. A first person shooter Alpha Prime is set in the future on an illegal asteroid mining base. Your sent in to figure out where everyone’s gone and why all the mining robots are trying to kill everyone. The focus here is on the single player experience so don’t expect brilliant mulitplayer or even one at all. The single player plot has been professionally written by Czech Sci-fi author Ondrej Neff and although ive never heard of him I’m sure it will be a good one. I think this game borrows heavily from games like Doom, trying to to deliver the same atmosphere, action and also a similar plot line. Some would call it a Doom-Clone but this could be a good thing if it can deliver, if not it will probably be forgotten.
Beyond the frontier…. As a mining inspector the player is tasked with exploring an illegal asteroid mining base to investigate the disappearance of its inhabitants. However, more pressing is why the mining robots and other autonomous systems are trying to put an end to his inspecting, permanently.
The story leads the player through several distinct environments - the inspector’s spaceship, damaged by enemy fire from within the asteroid, technical facilities, laboratories, crew quarters, mining shafts and more. On his quest to discover the secret of the asteroid the player will fight not only the robots, but the station itself. Using the ship’s radio he will talk to the navigator of a cargo vessel, one of the few people from the surrounding area to somehow remain alive. Walking down the empty halls and eerie corridors of the industrial complex the player will meet several survivors willing to help. Or so it seems….

- Bullet Time: Time seems to fly too quickly to your liking? A small dose of hubbardium will fix it. For a time…
- Car: Nothing like a little ride under the starlit sky! Jump in and enjoy the otherworldly vistas of Alpha Prime!

I downloaded the czech version months ago which had a english patch, but i think ill grab this as file size is good not to big.Yes i agree ViTALiTY are the in group out their today.
I have high expectations of this game - looks very promising.

I have the original version. It was very cheap, it uses Ageia physics, HDR lighting, very nice game to play, has some small bugs but it’s ok for the price, oh and the gameplay is kind of short to say. ;]

Even on easy the game is hard. I played it a couple times I kept dying.. so I deleted the game. It has nice graphics and weapons. It’s a good game as long as you have the english edition I got the Czech Edition and I had to get translations for the menus.

Well first of all thats your opinion and second of all NewTorrents is run by the same admin who runs this site thats why. If you dont like it dont use it, that is how its done here you cna also jsut copy and paste the release name into your favourite bittorent sites search engine.

True,sound is crap under Vista,experienced the same problem with the Demo as well.
Graphics would be pretty decent,if there was a way to make FSAA work in the game.Tried forcing it with ATI cc not much luck.Anyone heard about a workaround?
The game is pretty hard because the enemies all shoot like lucky luke.If you are in eyesight,they hit you,no matter what.Since we are lack of FPS-s lately,I recommend it to shooter fans.Not an instant classic,but its worth to give it a go.

yeah true vitality is the #1 grp when it comes to stealing crack code from other grps and making a proper out of it or doing lame workarounds where not even 1 protection feature is removed or using russian unprotected .exes and calling them crack
Vitality version doesn’t work for me, after I set the resolution to 1440×900 my screen went black and didn’t do shit.

and go into the settings config by opening it with wordpad, edit

even games limited to only 1GB is to hard for my computer to run! and its an XP!

Lasher…. it’s the game itself not the release version.. same thing happens with the RELOADED PROPER. Must be a bug.
Perfectionist… Thanks for the workaround.. it was a pain installing and deleting and regedit 3 times just to get it to start again.

Doom3 was undeniably horrific. I’m not a newbie when it comes to shooter action but Doom3 put the fear of God in me (and not in a very good way too). So Alpha Prime is just right for me
