Alpha Dog will be Justin Timberlake’s little acting debute. Meaning that the acting in this movie won’t be the reasn why you’re going to watch this movie. It’s abot this kid that gets kidnapped but somehow the kid starts to like the people who kidnapped him. Maybe I’ll check this out once there’s a TS out or something. But only because it’s got Bruce Willis.
In the sprawling, privileged neighborhoods around L.A., bored teenagers with too much time and too much money string one hazy day into another, looking for the next thrill–doing suburban imitations of the thug life they idolize from rap music, video games and movies. When you’re living without any consequences, anything can happen. And in the hot California summer six years ago, something did.
Inspired by true events, Alpha Dog follows three fateful days when the lives of a group of Southern California teens suddenly dead-ended. The film features a powerful ensemble cast including Ben Foster, Shawn Hatosy, Emile Hirsch, Christopher Marquette, Sharon Stone, Justin Timberlake, Anton Yelchin and Bruce Willis and is written and directed by Nick Cassavetes.
Johnny Truelove (Emile Hirsch) controls the drugs on the well-manicured streets of his neighborhood. Where Johnny goes, the party, the girls, and his loyal gang follow. When he’s double-crossed over missing deal money by raging hothead Jake (Ben Foster), Johnny and his gang impulsively kidnap Jake’s little brother, Zack (Anton Yelchin), holding him as a marker and heading to Palm Springs. With no parents in sight, they grow used to having the kid around, and Zack enjoys an illicit summer fantasy of drinking, girls and new experiences.
Out in the desert, Johnny and his boys lose sight that the kid is a hostage who can’t just be neatly returned. As the days tick by, the options of how to get themselves out of their situation start to disappear. Good times turn bad and bad turns worse as Johnny finds himself out of his league with no idea how to fix it…leading all these players toward a shocking conclusion they never saw coming.

he had played a good role in “Edison”
Yeah but now he’s one of the main characters, meaning that he could prove himself actor worthy. Which I doubt he’ll do anyway…
Actually this movie is pretty good, and Justin’s acting is nothing to frown at. He does a damn fine job in this one.
Timberlake’s a faygulah. I’m a hater though, what can I tell you. And Emile Hirsch, why’s he getting all these big roles? This site rules. Queens NYC baby! Where’s everybody else from? And I’m not as dumb as this post sounds, I swear.

saw that one in cinema yesterday (cause i was bored…usually i’m going to cinema to films that have special effects in it aka action, sci-fi.) anyway…
about the movie… first it is a “based on true story” -and a sad one i must add…(read on imdb more if you like)
about justin …in edison he was ok i think – here he is not playing a difficult role to portray so nothing to judge to much but he is not anoying in a way some actors play (you know what i’m talking about…)and justin acting good here
about Emile Hirsch he is good.. he was the guy from ” the gitl next door” and i even didnt recognized him here…wow…he got talent
but all of them nothing compare to 2 actors that playing the “kid” AND “his brother” (dont want to spoil too much)
any way buttom line is not a bad movie at all even a good one
7.5 from me…but there is nohing special for waiting to dvdrip
so if you not a quality addict like me you can watch a cam\ts
on that one…
yeah justin’s role in edison was basically the main star of the film, and he actually played it pretty good. This movie itself does look a bit dodgy.
Can’t wait for a DVDrip version….
he did well in Edison by me. It was a good action film aswell, nothin too serious but JT did himself justice. This one sounds like it could be a good one also.

I Keep gettin unexpected ending error in win rar… rar47 is acting funny is anyone else gettin this or know how to fix it !

yup, CRC error here too. doesnt really matter, I just watched the sample and it idd looks awful…
