AlJazeera Blood Sweat and Tears PDTV XviD-rXnX

Here’s something a little different. Who knew that AlJazeera makes English documentaries ? I was not aware of this until I saw this rls. I have been meaning to post it for some time now, so it is a few days late. The documentary has a critical look on the migrant workers who largely have built the nation - on hard labor in harsh conditions with little pay and poor boarding spaces. I have to apologize about the torrent as it has burned out and there’s no seeds according to NTi so I tried the ISOhunt for torrent and there is one seed. The gulf countries: Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Oman, Bahrain, Kuwait and Qatar are enjoying an economic boom. New construction projects, fueled by oil rich investors had a total value of 200 Billion US dollars in 2006 alone.

Al Jazeera takes a revealing look at the appalling conditions facing many of the 10 million Asian labourers in the Gulf, most of whom come from Bangladesh, India, Nepal, Pakistan and Sri Lanka

Al-Jazeera has been turned into a bad word by FOX so most people in the US probably wont watch this, and incorrectly associate Al-Jazeera with “muslim fundamentalist propaganda”. The fact of the matter is that Al-Jazeera is 10x more “fair and balanced” than FOX or CNN put together. They really do show all sides of most arguments and have gone after everyone; the Middle Eastern royal families, Muslim fundamentalists, extremists, etc they have very good journalism and question everything.

Those of us that have contacts in the Arab world know that Al-Jazeera is THE source of news for the Arab speaking world (1.5 billion people), and unlike CNN and FOX this is a REAL news organization that shows the world in an un-sugarcoated way; yes that means blood and guts everywhere and NO Lindsey Lohan or Paris Hilton bullshit.

They’re not asians, they’re middle-easterners. If you’re going to call them asians, that makes germans asians, russians asians, french asians, etc. They’re middle-easterners.

Due to my satellite and being not in the US I can watch channels from around the world. From Japan, China, Africa, Middle East, USA, South America and of course Europe. Having access to so many channels can give you a more balanced view than most of the channels you receive in the US. And believe me, I know what I am talking about. I lived there for some time. Of course there is always internet, youtube/liveleak and internet tv….

al jazeera used to be the mid-east BBC before they pulled out of the region. it’s good quality news. CNN and FOX (arguably America’s two propaganda stations) make Al-Jazeera seem like they are a terrorist station and it isn’t.

    wait here’s the irony:
It’s a wonder how CCTV gets broadcast on Dishnetwork’s main satellite (110) and Al-Jazeera needs a different dish. CCTV stands for COMMUNIST CHINA TELEVISION. Wait… I guess there is money to be made by being friends with China and ummm, wait America is running out of oil so lets make the Arabs the bad guys and invade. God bless America because we support communist regimes when we can make money on it. Impeach Bush!

Never thought Id say this but thanks Mr X. I’m on my way to Saudi this week to work and will have a crew of Asians working under me,so this should be interesting. As for comment 5. Last time I looked India, Pakistan etc, are all to be found on the Asian continent in the far East, Germans and French are found here in Europe.don’t really get your point.

Al-Jazeera will pretty much go after anyone (except Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa). On the worldwide scale its about as reputable as the BBC, only its fund has never been regulated by any government.

Thanx a lot for this. I’ve spent more then half of my life living in the gulf; and i would have to say that the majority of the citizens of those countries(mainly saudi arabia, kuwait), are the biggest pieces of shit human beings on the planet. No wonder bush gets along with them, they got a lot in common.

How’s this for irony? A card carry member of the tinfoil hat brigade never wonders why a network serving a region with a minute percentage of English speakers is making ‘documentaries’ in English?

The utter incongruity of that boggles the mind.

Heard of Dubai? It’s built on the back of these poor fucks that get trucked in by the thousands. It’s built by men who live in temporary housing thousands of miles from home. They toil in skyscrapers all day only to get home and live in a little mobile home trailer. And before any of you sarcastic assholes says it sounds like your job, the pay is shit, the working conditions are shit. The United Arab Emirates are obscenely wealthy, rich on a scale you or I couldn’t imagine. And they are ass-fucking these poor people from a foreign land; all so they can build an downhill ski mountain in the middle of a gigantic mall. They are spending money as fast as possible because they know when America finally gets off its oil addiction, the money well will be dry.

  24. August 29th, 2007 | 18:12

    Hans, please don’t start a lets-bash-the-muslims -thread.

Hi guys ,, actually I am very offended of what have been posted here , i am a saudi guy and i don’t accept racial segregation , there are good people and bad people and it is also not related to religion , other than this is radical which no body accept it and don’t resemble the whole society ..

Yes there are a lot in our side that I don’t like , but also in the other side there are a lot I don’t like ,, but this come form bad people with no manners and Ethics

Ahhhh, by the way you know that the prices in our markets increased 30-50 % this year , so you know where the money goes ,, not to the ordinary people !!

About the documentary , I didn’t see and I am looking for.
