Guys from Larceny seem to be on fire today – they just pred a dvdrip of Aliens vs Predator Requiem few seconds ago. This eagerly awaited movie didn’t turn out to be such a hit after all, but it was scary and brutal enough. This dvdrip comes in a standard 1 CD quality with mp3 audio.
ALIEN VS. PREDATOR relegated its intergalactic grudge match to Antarctica, keeping most of humankind gleefully ignorant. This time around, though, the destruction takes place in suburban America, and those who have been waiting for it finally get to witness facehuggers, alien hybrids, and the dreadlocked Predator wreak some homeland havoc. Directors Colin and Greg Strause (billed as “The Brothers Strause”) don’t seem concerned with achieving the tension of the original ALIEN and PREDATOR films, instead using their visual effects backgrounds to create a steady stream of monsters, gore, and goo.

Like #6, I’d like to know what’s different in the Unrated version
no, this movie isnt even “ok”. its total crap, its a poor excuse to show gore, no character development, just cut together scenes, its like a rambo version (not rambo 1, the other rambo crap movies) of predator. Part 1 of of AvP wasnt great either, but there was at least somekind of attempt to make it logical in the alien and predator universe. no need to mention AvP1 and 2 are a disgrace when compared to the original Alien and Predator movies action, story telling and actors (yeah, even compared to Alien 4).

Unrated version has extra footage you don’t see in the cinema version. Like extra gore or possibly differnet ending etc. Watched the R3 version. Movie itself wasen’t bad and it is the real alien and predator from previous outings as jonney666 thinks there fake. They ain’t.

It wasn/t bad, its one of those movies you dont go in expecting alot from other than action and some gore. Ive seen worse alot worse. Would I have shelled out 12.50 to go see it in theaters, hell no and feel bad for anyone who did. Anyone know if this is as dark as the R3 that was release a while ago.

The “Alien” in the pic above is actually the “predalien” hybrid so which would explain why it doesn’t look like the regular Alien. Dunno what to say about the Predator though, although I doubt they all look alike since they’re a more advanced race than the Alien.
The unrated version of AVP:R was supposed to be 101 minutes, but this is 86 minutes. Not sure what the difference with the R3/DVDScr/R5.

I’m a big fan of aliens & predator, the first avp was really bad, but this one was better than the first but still not very good. Worth downloading just to watch once and then delete.
I agree with previous posts about the aliens and predator not looking like the original. The aliens were totally different. Not to spoil it for anyone but just to point out, the final showdown at the end, the alien looks almost like a predator with an alien head. Not the typical smaller but faster alien.

For all those complaining about the Alien looking different, it’s been known for years that the Aliens take on characteristics of any creature they use as a host incubator. Alien 3 had a 4 legged dog/alien.
It had so much potential, but fulfilled none of it.
This release can’t be the UNRATED version.
According to Amazon.com, the run time of the UNRATED version is 101 minutes. This one is 86 minutes if we check the NFO.
So it might be a stupid April Fool from the Larceny team. :/

Sorry for double post, it was unintentional.
All you people saying this movie is crap, are complete idiots. This movie kicked ass, for the 1st time we got a glimpse of the predator world, we also got to see that dope ass 3d map he could make of his surroundings just like video game HUD’s. Also it’s a brtother story which I enjoy, (if you watch closely the predator that dies early in the movie and the one that shows up are most likely brothers along with the main charcters who are bros too. And it was directed by the Brothers Strauss who brought us all of the SFX from many good movies. In my opinion this is way better than the first AVP as it is not freaking PG13. I am tottally getting this for the extra gore.
It wouldn’t suprise me at all if they released the normal version and labelled it as the unrated one. Try and find a copy of the unrated version of Eurotrip. I downloaded three different ones and they all turned out to be the normal version.

I dont understand why the same movie is uploaded by the same uploader on irfree, but another rip. You can see this one on rlslog is a PAL source.. Again this movie is awesome, it was way better than some of this late summers/halloween time hollywood blockbusters that stuffed ads down our throats, i.e. I Am Legend, Cloverfield, and Jumper, those movies really dissappointed me. Whats funny actually is that this horror/scifi movie is longer than I am legend or jumper.

for me it’s a perfect movie
I liked this movie, good action flick to kill a couple of hours.
This movie is not about good acting and stuff, so just disable your brain, relax and enjoy the action.
I rather go for the DiAMOND release, please post if it ever gets out

The only way this movie sucked to you is if you were looking for far too much from it. You want a deep story line, you want meaningful characters, then why the hell are you watching AvP:R?
