Okey, okey, here it is. We refused to post this release as it’s a p2p version and we inform only about scene releases, but the amount of offtopic comments in latest posts was so big it deserves at least a short mention. This is a pretty fine release in terms of quality, the image is crystal clear. R3 means a Thai source was used for this rip, but you don’t have to worry, the audio is English. The download link is below. 
A little town in the hills of Colorado will become the battleground between two of the deadliest extra-terrestrial lifeforms – the Alien and the Predator. When a Predator scout ship crash-lands in the hills outside the town, Alien facehuggers are released in the crash, and an even more evil creature – a hybrid Alien/Predator – is also released. A man & his son hunting in the forests near the crash site soon become the first victims of the facehuggers, and when a Predator receives data about the crash on his home planet, he comes to Earth. One at a time, the inhabitants of the town become targets of the Aliens and the Predator, including the local sheriff, a young female soldier recently returned from Iraq, and several teens. It’s a Thai DVD-Rip with English Audio. It says in the NFO that the Audio is vcd studio … whatever that means.
I would says you can compare it to a R5 with Line sound.

The quality is excellent. It’s the same as an R5, English Line Audio with DVD video quality. I wish somebody would make a DVDR of this to enhance the quality more. I posted this P2P earlier and it got deleted. Nice to see that Releaselog finally starting to respect P2P groups.

I am asking myself…why they set the location of this movie on earth? To be honest…anyone who has seen all the alien movies and read all tomics from Darkhorse knows…..if an alien reaches living enviroment…than within 24 hours….you have to nuke the whole planet…..and not just a little town. so effin’ nice! I saw this on TPB and downloaded the sample, but it didn’t show any aliens or predators, so I wasn’t too sure it was real. Quality was superb though, so I started downloading “just in case”. as it turns out, it is real!

I dont know about missing scenes at all but i did see this crap movie in a theater screener and it plays like the movie is missing scenes so it might be hard to tell for someone who has not seen the movie. Horrible movie hehe

I downloaded the sample and the quality is awesome! I love it when the P2P community releases its own releases ahed of the Scene. Just watch them release their own release of this.
I saw this movie last night in theatres. In my honest opinion it was god awfull. With a clear mind I approached the movie, not biased by the bad reviews. But as soon as the movie began I knew it. The shots, the acting. It was terrible. Not to speak about the so called forced astory line for the characters. It was all too typical.
One thing can be said, they did not go PG on gore. The only thing they executed quite well.

Can’t be missing scenes. It’s listed in the NFO as 1 hour and 33 minutes. IMDB lists the movie has being 86 minutes (USA), 93 minutes (Argentina). If anything, this movie is extended an extra 7 minutes compared to the version released in USA’s theaters. So now you know.

Just what I expected of this movie. Wasn’t bad as the first one, though not great either hehe. Only wish I could see the Predator next to a human to get a better feel of how much bigger he is. He looked regular size to me

What is the difference where it comes from, pirates code is to share the booty. I have no idea where to get hooked up to a p2p group but if they have the goods before anybody else maybe there stuff should be considered as something worth posting. No sense hating on p2p, I have been doing this for 11 years even before broadband went commercial using T1s at work with stuff like mirc. A guy at work put me on he used it to share concerts and stuff then it turn into software, video games then movies. So if the releases come in put them up I thank you as always..

p2p means Peer 2 Peer. In that the movie originated as a torrent or shared file.
Scene groups (IE Pukka, Camera, Prevail) follow rules and generally distribute movies at first via IRC. They tend to take more responsibility when releasing something. For example making sure the file sizes/encoding is done properly.
Also scene groups usually follow-up if there is a problem (Sync/etc) since they try to protect their reputation for quality. With a P2P file no one is really accountable so mistakes/problems are more common…

RLSLog – please don’t limit yourself to scene releases. Otherwise, half (or more) of your audience will be visiting a competitor to find the p2p releases you choose not to post. Not good business practice (and if the scene turn away from you because of that, you’re better of distancing yourself from such a clicky community!)

@72… I have to pick up on this one because it is probably the most annoying thing about the scene, scene-wannabes, and idiots in general. You don’t have to be part of the scene to be able to get people’s private information and then post it online, or even erase their personal records. I’m still flabbergasted some group did that recently, even if the guy was trying to make money off their work, you absolutely should NOT post his personal details and especially not that of his family. shocking.
I’m not in the scene, not even an important or powerful person, but I do have 20+ years computer experience and qualifications, and access to review and edit police and government records. If the scene posted my details, I’d be a lot more successful in retaliation than the government/police/MPAA have been, and I’m sure that is true of a LOT of people.
If you threaten people, or jeapordize their safety and freedom (ie post their personal info/ID online), they push back. Unless the scene wants 100 ‘Charles Bronsons’ after them, they need to show some responsibility… even if it is just keeping their minnows in order.
and to stay on topic…

If this were a ’scene’ release itd be nuked because the resolution is too high. In this case the ’scene’ prefers lower quality so mull that over before anyone wants to bash p2p. Both sides are capable of releasing crap encodes, but only p2p can release high quality, full format dvd resolution, anamorphic, or use the x264 codec.
You can either get this one at 704×288 or wait for an ‘official scene’ release at 640×272 max, your decision but no one can blame anyone for wanting this version.
Ill say it again, the scene is about creating uniform standards and packaging, not quality. Any quality that arises from it is literally a side-effect.

They dont use x264 for standard def is what i mean. But even with standard xvid theres no reason why they cant be encoded anamorphically at least is there? If the anamorphic flag is in the file then no one need even know thats how its been encoded that way.

Out of the entire comments sections this is about the only educated response I’ve seen. Scene groups do not distribute via IRC. That claim may have been semi-accurate 10 years ago, but not anymore.
The real scene is in a dying state. Although it will never truly disappear for various reasons. (security, friendships, benefits, etc)
The scene can not rely entirely on leadership or line owners, it relies on crackers and programmers to survive. Increased pressure from law enforcement and jail time lead talented individuals to leave. Preretail suppliers aren’t as abundant as they used to be, which is why p2p is beating the scene on some pre. And why some groups are conveniently lifting sources off of p2p, reencoding, then preing under a respected group name.

There has been a lot of lifting from p2p, re-encoding, and retagging as of late. It becomes more obvious with the DVDSCR though as those sources aren’t as prevalent. With retail DVD it’s possible for anyone to buy it, so making claims are much more difficult.
@people questioning the nuke.
It’s a p2p release and it can only be nuked if it is added to a predb. If nobody adds it to a predb, then it can’t be nuked can it. With that said, the AKCPE release does not conform to scene rules, so if it was added to a predb it could be nuked for either p2p or audio.
Now if a respected scene group lifts the AKCPE release, then retag and pre, it should be nuked for p2p source. Such acts used to be looked down upon and shunned. Unfortunately, in recent years, the scene lost a lot of the credibility, respect, and camaraderie it once held. Elder sceners have left or were busted in recent years, new members took their places and it has had a negative effect.

Having watched this in theatres, I can say that the quality of this release is very sharp. My only complaint is that overall, the entire video itself is darker than it should be, as I remember being able to see certain sequences very clearly in theatres, and in this release, it’s too dark to make out what’s going on.

People…this is by far the best rip and i downloaded 5 different versions in the last 3 weeks.
But again….this is the worst Alien/predator/AvP movie ever.
The human actors are crap. The AvP Storyline and action is short and quite boring. The story is….lame….”Alien on earth. Predator comes to kill. Pizzaboy in love with hot girl. Sh has Boyfriend. Army mom returns to home…daughter is acting like alien…and than a lot of slasher movie events..” Crap movie…but quite good R5/R3 Release

thanks for the link, but those english subtitles SUCK! almost every sentence is rephrased with different words than what is actually spoken, like “watch out!” becomes “look” and “I’m scared” is “I am frightened”. Some sentences don’t even make sense. it is very very annoying. it doesn’t look like a native speaker made this, and it’s simply translated from another language via a online translator or something. they didn’t even bother to check if it turned out OK (which it didn’t). If you want english subs, skip this one
