I watched the other version and saw nothing wrong. I didn’t expect much from this movie but it actually has great action and special effects and kinda scarry in parts. NICE!

this is a dvdrip though – just a region 3 rip ( asia ) rather than a region 1 ( usa ). Quality of the picture of the disk will be the same – it just the region coding on the disk that will be different.
*awaiting ‘flaming’ from 50 different people telling me i’m wrong and know nothing about quality of different region disks etc *
i love this kind of film, and really had high hopes from the trailer for this, but man did this film suck. The only thing remotely good about it was the gore, but even then it was, well, lacking, and they could of done so much better.
The quality of this is no better than the nuked one. Maybe the nuked had even a bit better audio and video…I’d say this is not worth downloading if you have the previous one and even if U don’t I’d prefer that one.

I am watching the previous release from AKCPE right now. The video is good , the audio is equally good. You do not need to download BaLD release if you already got AKCPE version to enjoy the movie quality-wise.

They probably checked the p2p-version and got confused and thougth they had to tag it as R3. People dont tag dvdrips as R3. Only time you have to tag a dvdrip is when its R5.

Yeah this movie was poorly constructed. There are too many gaps in the story line, was the alien a queen? How does it make more aliens? I saw the original Alien movie and read half way through the book before I discovered something more interesting. Those qualities are unlike the original Alien not even the in the third movie was a lone alien able to do what this one did. Why wasn’t there more predators who was this one rambo?

There’s nothing wrong with the other release. If you’ve already got that one, there’s no point in getting this one. This movie was wwaaaaaaaayyyyyyy better than the last one. This going on too long an R3 is short for Region 3 Asia and R5 Russia is region 5, I guess US is R1 and Europe is R2. What R4 Africa. The R3 are new and we might get some more someone over there just got a TC machine. They are some great TELECINES with LINE audio in English. Read my people

Just watched it, it has missing audio for about 2-3 seconds in the middle of the movie, so probably gonna get renuked. But don’t waste time downloading this crap. AKCPE labeled their release r3 but imo they did not know what they were doing. if a movie has an r3 source its labeled as a DVDRip because thats the final and fully edited copy of the movie. thats why there are no movies with the tag r3. the only tags for movies that have dvd sources (not cams or ts) are R5, DVDRip, DVD Screener, Workprint, Telecine

I suggest u read up on R5 before deciding to post links to wiki saying this is R3.
R5’s are released by Russian Movie Studios to combat the huge amount of Piracy over there. They sell the R5’s for about the same price as the other Silvers sold there, that way people just buy the R5 from Them instead of paying money to pirates, The R5 tag has something to do with tregion coding, but the Whole point of R5 is that it is Released By movie Studios and isn’t the final DVD product or Print, which is why R5’s are of lower quality than DVDRiPs. I have no Idead if Asian movie studios are implementing this as well to get some money back from the fact that all of them are pirates

If you compare this movie to the magnificent initial ALIEN Trilogy, there’s only one thing I can say: Crappy, crappy, crappy. So, if you haven’t seen the real deal yet, go for Sigourney Weaver.

which version is better quality once converted? and please explain why
I read the comics but I can’t recall the Predalien ever being able to reproduce. I guess they needed some filler seeing as how that one pred could have ended the movie pretty quick. I believe that Predator was of the Wolf class but I can’t be sure. He was armed to the teeth like a wolf. And I think the pred that was still aboard (dead) the ship may have been his son since all those preds from the first were doing their right of passage. Oh yeah and the alien from the 3rd one was a Runner, which is made from a quadruped. They tend to be faster and weaker. That’s why ole buddy was able to fist to cuff the alien in the lead works.

The movie would have been a lot better if you could freaking see what was going on. Its dark because its night, then its darker because of a thunderstorm, then its even darker because the power goes out. It wouldn’t have made the storyline or acting any better, but it would have been nice to have clearly seen the sci-fi element and special effects.

Anyone manage to find any decent (or any at all!) English subtitles yet?
Not sure how many of you who niticed this, but the Stereo L/R are reversed so I had to switch the left /right phono cable on my stereo sigh :/
Anyone know if there is a program who can convert and fix this ?

R3 is Asian, people here on rlslog say. Not sure if the Quality of these are as good as the Russian R5. But picture on this R3 is pretty decent I think.
Okay so I was ready so watch this movie, movie converted and burned to dvd.
After few minutes I notices that the Stereo L/R are reversed, then later I hear this constant anoying noice in the backround dont know what that is sounds like a waterfall or something. Then I chekked the first R3 the AKCPE, and in this the L/R stereo is correct and the noise in the backround is much lower less anoying. I would recommend the AKCPE version.
For all you motherfookers complaining or b!itching about quality or whatever reason… who gives a sh!t you ungrateful b@stards. Your getting the movie for free, pirating it and either keeping it or selling it it costs you the price of a fooking blank disk and then you try and “nuke”… if you can do better get the fook off your @ss and proove it because all I see is a bunch of moaning tw@ats that cant even get their pecker up looking at swedish porn let alone get caught blowing mommy when daddy is out.
Take it from a person who has both releases. Aliens Vs Predator Requiem R3 XviD-AKCPE is better video than this release. The colors seem alot richer. I played them simultaneously, side-by-side, and this ones picture didn’t compare to the other one. However, for audio, you have 112kbps versus 120kbps…This being the one with 120kbps. But I still recommend Aliens Vs Predator Requiem R3 XviD-AKCPE. You won’t regret it.

I agree, but not only for that, also because this one has reversed stereo, L/R is switched. The R3 XviD-AKCPE has correct stereo, sound is 112kb though but still sounds better than the Bald I would say, plus you get correct stereo image.

So should I DL and watch this movie or is it too terrible and should just wait for the Unrated version Rip with 8 more minutes of footage?
Maybe it’s just me, but I thought the de-interlacing on the non-scene release was better than the PROPER version. Just check the shopping cart in the back around 9:25 of the movie, the PROPER version has it “jumping” around, ugly! The non-scene release stays smooth the whole time!

R3 means a Thai source was used for this rip, but you don’t have to worry, the audio is English.

Sorry but check out the fox opening at the beging u can see that there are in this verzion – step’s as in a resampled verzion of the org which is unless the org was bad is not even close in quality to the org…

This is worse than the AKCPE version. Lower res and washed out video. Proper? Proper idiots…

AKCPE version is only DVDR ( but still R3)
so it’s supposed to be better quality.. (4.3 GBs big too)
BaLD just ripped it into 1 CD.. ( 700 MB )
And PROPER because it fixes AKCPE release
