Alien Vs Predator Requiem 2007 DVDSCR XviD-COCAIN

This movie was available in a good quality R3 for 2 weeks now, but COCAIN just released the DVDSCR. This movie is not one for any academy awards. Not many people liked it, and it has gotten pretty crap ratings almost everywhere. According to nfo, this release is 4 minutes longer than the R3. Also, expect b&w scenes and an ultra-annoying permanent logo at the bottom right.

Synopsis: ALIEN VS. PREDATOR relegated its intergalactic grudge match to Antarctica, keeping most of humankind gleefully ignorant. This time around, though, the destruction takes place in suburban America, and those who have been waiting for it finally get to witness facehuggers, alien hybrids, and the dreadlocked Predator wreak some homeland havoc. Directors Colin and Greg Strause (billed as “The Brothers Strause”) don’t seem concerned with achieving the tension of the original ALIEN and PREDATOR films, instead using their visual effects backgrounds to create a steady stream of monsters, gore, and goo.

    This movie sucked big time. It sucked in so many ways. The characters were horrible, goddamn Dawson’s Creek -style highshool kids, an iraq -mother, the troubled brothers etc. It was hideous. I hate the fact that i spent my time watchin this sorry excuse for a movie. I hope the director and the actor die of aids or something.

    @18 I agree, worth watching for the sfx(predator weapons & gadgets are awesome) but as far as the story goes its a bit weak. If u have the R3 I wouldn’t bother d’ling, a dvdrip should be round the corner. ;)

    Man, so much hate for this movie. I’m guess I’m in the minority that liked this movie. I wasn’t expecting much and was surprised at this movie. I didn’t compare it to the previous Alien or Predator movies, only to the first AVP, and I thought it was waaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyyyyy better than the first. Maybe some of you are dissappointed because you’re comparing it to the classic Alien and Predator movies from the past?

    IMO not worth getting the screener when the R3 is already out in great quality.

    Honestly, I didn’t like the first Alien Vs. Predator, and when my brother and friend and I went to this one in St. John, I didn’t expect much. It was better than what I expected, and it was alright, but not my type. It was kinda cool, though.

    Although both AVP movies sucked real hard… this one is a step in the right direction. I don’t know if any of you remember how the first AVP was rated PG13… How can you have an AVP movie without the blood and gore? This one actually includes that. It’s not a “good” movie by far… don’t get be wrong…but it is an enjoyable watch if you feel like escaping reality for 90 minutes.

    @2 For the record, I downloaded, burned and watched the R3 on my tv. Picture was good (felt like I was watching a DVD), sync was perfect, and I certainly wouldn’t bother downloading a screener - black and white scenes and property messages would be faaaarrr worse than the version I watched, which was quite perfect. As for the film… it was nice to see the quality of animation and characters were up to par… the aliens, and predator, were as good quality as their respective original films, but this film did seem a bit formulaic and predictable. Nonetheless, for those that like guns, action and good effects, this is worth a Slow sunday viewing. OA Rating… 53%

    4 minutes longer than the R3 release.
    Very good quality, but contains a permanent 20th Century Fox watermark at the right corner, and a couple of black-and-white scenes.
    so the R3 release is better ;)

    Predator vs Alien, except those 2 when they are battling, is really total crap. Acting is so bad, that I wish to kill the director and the screenwriter. And they say that is the goriest move of all………and that also is crap.
    Yes I do prefer to watch a movie in cinema when I know it is good.
    So yes, long live piracy to show me how many crappy movies are released today. Good and Excelent movies deserve full HD attention in theatre.
    Can Hollywood be more inovative?

    This movie sucked big time.

    I loved all the aliens + predator movies till now.
    I liked the linking of the two series to the alien vs predator movie.

    However this is by far one of the worst movies I have ever seen. It gives nothing new to the story, it has no mystery and it is boring to death.

    It looked like a teen horror movie to me. Watch it, but only if you dont have something better to do.

    Get your facts straight before you talk crap. The directors of the movie, Brothers Strause are both American. Producer, American. Screenwriters (all 4 of them), American. Cinematographer, you guessed it, American. Steven Pasquale, American. Reiko Aylesworth, American too.

    Seems to me like the Americans messed this up, not anyone else.
