Here’s an Adobe Photoshop plugin. This plugin allows you to enlarge images with less image quality loss. DOA released this one, and I got another Adobe plugin coming up for you.

Blow Up® 2 is a Photoshop® plug-in that produces enlargements dramatically sharper than any other software, especially Photoshop! Blow Up uses an innovative algorithm that temporarily converts pixels to a vector representation which results in perfectly smooth, crisp edges. Simulated texture and film grain keep photos looking natural even in extreme enlargements. Blow Up can even clean up JPEG compression artifacts when a client insists on using a low quality source image from the Web.

    Ok, I’ve tried other alternatives (Genuine Fractals,Photozoom Pro)and the results are visible, but so-so if you ask me. Has anybody tried this one so far?

    i installed this and it detected photoshop on the install etc.. but when i run photoshop and opened a photo i can’t find the plugin or any of it’s presets in the list anyway, it’s not in the filters menu anywhere. how do you access it?

    Alien Skin changed how their plugins are activated, so the included serial is useless.

    I have version 1 right now, and the result are great most of the time. Of course, you can always fine-tune the image for better results, but this is definitely a time saver.

    Better than genuine fractals? i’d say yes :)
