The film, which stars Viggo Mortensen, is the most expensive Spanish-language film ever made in Spain (about €24 million – US$30 million). It portrays Spain of the 17th century using both fictional and real characters. The language in this movie is Spanish, but we have english sub muxed into the mkv container. Enjoy!

Never seen this one, is it any good?
This looks like a very interesting movie, wonder why it’s 6.5GB instead of the standard 4.5GB for 720p x264 movie…
Bad movie in my opinion… They tried to concentrate the full story of the character, told in six novels (with three more on the way), in a 147 min. movie.
It’s the most expensive spanish film ever, and of course it received a lot of Goya awards in Spain, but as you know… awards and money don’t mean quality
(If you decide to watch it you’ll benefit from the subtitles, most people were unable to understand Mortensen’s “spanish”)
